"So paid for breakfast both nights but my flight was changed for the second morning so could not get breakfast as too early to check out? The guy behind the desk said no problem and we canโt give you your money back but I will have a packed breakfast made for you both and leave outside your door so you can take with you! Well no breakfast and the guy on the check out desk did not have a clue about it! So 50 pounds for two breakfasts was well worth it NOT Hotel was very nice though"

"Staff are really lovely and so helpful. Parts of the room were a little bit unclean such as dirty glasses in the bathroom and hairs in the bathroom/sink. Lots of flies in restaurant bathroom too a bit unclean. Beds v comfy!"

"The hotel was in a Great location for site seeing & walking around, the breakfast was very good. There are lots of restaurants nearby. Our room was hot- no AC, which I donโt remember seeing this mentioned when I booked online."

"Overall, this was a great property to stay at if you are visiting Edinburgh for the first time. Located within walking distance of public transit and many of the popular sights, making it a convenient choice. Stay didnโt blow me away, but was good enough to meet our needs. Towels and sheets were changed daily, which was nice, but sometimes appears to be dirty (specks of black on towels and sheets). We requested a quieter room, which seemed to help reduce noise."

"Everything from the beginning of our stay was amazing. Archie at the front desk is an asset to your company and deserves a large raise. We are from the United States and never felt more welcome from the minute we stepped in this hotel. I'm pretty sure It had to do with Archie at the front desk his personality and love for his job made our stay one of the best. As for a woman at the front desk was not nice to my husband one of the days we were there. We are here in Scotland for another 4 weeks and hope to meet more people like Archie. His knowledge of where to go what to do and what to see was perfect. I must add the room was clean , big & the view was absolutely amazing as we had a room with a balcony. We would like to Thank Archie for an amazing reception. Claudette & John"

"It was not much of a hassle to get into the old town where all the action is as as well as the Airport. Otherwise a pretty normal hotel. Best part, it was half the price as downtown or old city places."
