The staff were extremely helpful and the one served us could speak English. The food was good.The private bath (fee required) inside the public bath has half glass walls so not so private except exclusive use of the facility .Given the price we paid included a free tour of the shrines, we considered it's value for money."

"Really enjoyed our short stay and visiting this area. Walkable distance from the station and lake. A full Japanese-style breakfast was beautifully presented with some alternatives also on offer - fruit, eggs, bacon etc. We visited in May when the hotel and Suwa generally were very quiet so we were able to enjoy the hotel facilitie - the modern reception area and onsen. Good size room with twin beds. Go for one with a lake view if possible."

"Very easy process to self check in, room spotless, great free drinks options, excellent breakfast (would recommend getting double portion of 'toast', which is delivered to your door at specified time (you must choose order before 11pm). Great location next to lake front. Would def stay again 😎"

"If you are a tourist, this place is only accessible by taxi. If you want to take the bus, make sure you do not have luggage as the city busses are very small. The onsen is really the highlight of the place. "
