"A nice hotel in a small town in Jylland. The room is basic but sufficient. The bathroom was quite large and had good water pressure. It would be great to have shampoo. The breakfast is a nice spread with good rolls. The owner was friendly and I got to enjoy a concert there on the night I arrived. Right across the street from a grocery store if you need anything! "

"Te property is in excellent condition and it has clearly had an extensive refurbishment to a high standard. The check in was the easiest i can remember. On arrival the key was waiting for me. The room was very comfortable and had good WIfI access. Ther was a kitchenette and large TV/Games room with plenty of tea and coffee. The location of the hotel lends itself to a very peaceful and relaxing stay making an excellent base for those looking for some tranquil surroundings. The Property is full of character and charm. The property was full of surprises in a very positive way "

"We had a great (3-nights) stay at Strandhotellet. It is a lovely stylish hotel with a quaint atmosphere, and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We received excellent service and the staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming. Note if you stay during the warmer season: There’s no AC in the room or ventilation in the bathrooms. The room had a small portable fan which we turned on at night: We would have preferred to leave the patio doors open, to experience the ocean breeze but due to mosquitos we had to keep the doors closed. The room was unpleasantly warm. That said: we were in Blokhus during the warmest week of the year, the weather and the beach was amazing ☀️ "

"This is truly a gemstone - not in terms of fancy- fancy but rather solid, honest 3 Star in a superbly quiet and beautiful atmosphere. Easy walk to the largely unmolested beach, even easier walk to completely unchanged nature at the backdrop. GREAT breakfast! This to me is a bit like time travelling- in a good way! "
