"The decor in the suite is lovely. The staff are friendly, welcoming and professional. We stayed in the family suite and the second room did not have a door. The tea/coffee station in the suite is very limited. The breakfast offering is great, unfortunately the breakfast room is too narrow."

"Basically the hotel restaurant was not open. We checked in and the owner disappeared. We felt like we were the only ones in the hotel. It was a. Dry strange experience. We had a mini bar in our room, but basically it was a trip into nearest town 7k away to get provisions. When we checked out in the morning, we were asked for payment . I explained and showed evidence that we had pre paid. Hotel clearly not used to bookings from Expedia. It was a little uncomfortable for all to say the least."

"Very good experience, friendly staff and neat room, a bit outdated but that was absolutely fine with me. Even though there were only 2 guests in hotel (between Christmas and New Year) the breakfast was plentiful and of good variety. "

"Room was great, very clean but a strange layout. A bit of a maze to get from our room to the reception area. Had a high ceiling, almost looked like a refurbished hospital, but nicely maintained. Excellent location, close walk to town centre and Christmas markets. Parking was convenient and free."

I could see a code on it, I guess to access the hotel, but it did not work. I called for help, and the phone was answered and was manager was helpful. I was able to get into the building. "We stayed at a room with type "Classic Suite, Private Bathroom" for one night in July. The room is too small for 4 people. Smell coming out from shower sink. The day of our stay it was quite hot and there was a vantilator in the room that was not working well and unfortunately the staff was not able to find an alternative solution. I must say the staff was very kind however this was not enough to prevent the bad experience. Not impacting my rating and we did not need it but the restaurant at the...

"Great location, breakfast was very good. Great traditional German food nearby. Only downside is when traveling by train, it is a pretty long hike to hotel when you have a lot of heavy bags."
