"Staff were great but there simply wasn't enough of them. The lift was out of service or faulty and the stairs are great for someone with a temporary disability. The breakfast staff were very happy and helpful and produced some queality food and refreshments - thank you"

"The room was comfortable but the bed a bit firm for our taste everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were all extremely helpful and the main rooms were across a small courtyard but because of this the rooms were nice and quite. We had the option to eat so had dinner there which was excellent and could have had the breakfast but unfortunately didn't have the time. Check in and out were done easily would definitely stay there again."

"We really enjoyed the whole stay. The scenery and set up is beautiful. Our room was lovely and bedding clean. Staff were amazing. Very friendly. The only issue we had was the food. We have a meal in the restaurant and it was £16 for a microwave curry. Drinks expensive and breakfast basic. This is the only thing to let it down. However there is plenty of food options in Matlock Bath itself."

"There was no sun lounges so you have to lie down on the floor . The pool wouldn’t be good if you have kids . You are only allowed to go up and down . All the lanes !!! Not even one lane in the massive swimming pool so you can swim and relax ! So, that part was disappointing :("
