"An overall pleasurable experience during our two night stay. A great luxury feel within much of the hotel in a lovely location just outside of Derby. Minor issue in that our first room lacked hot water, however after informing the staff this was dealt with quickly and we were even moved to an upgraded room which was appreciated. Only negative was a somewhat lacklustre breakfast offering but overall very pleasurable."

The hotel itself is in a prime location so everything is within walking distance. The bar at the hotel is well stocked and we did dine at the hotel and the food was amazing. The only downside I can think of is the parking situation. The hotel does have parking but with very limited spaces, but there is plenty of other parking options which the hotel does inform you about before hand. My wife and I would definitely stay here again."

"Arrived late for one night stay following a wedding so didn’t use any of the amenities or restaurant. Bed was really comfortable, we could control our own heating or air conditioning via a remote which was great as we hate it when these are controlled centrally. Room had tea/coffee tray, hairdryer and spare pillows and there is shampoo, shower gel and hand wash in the bathroom. Bathroom was a little tired, plastic shower head and fittings, and the bath panel and bottom of the door had paint missing which made them look tatty. Comfortable stay and we would stay here again when visiting the area."
