"Overall, not a good stay and wouldn’t recommend. Room very hot and no air conditioning, no bathroom mirror, place looked a little old and run down. Noisy building and main road made it difficult to get any sleep."

"I've stayed at the Stuart a number of times over the last 20 years and each time, it's slightly less good than the last. To be honest I'm not sure why it's in Best Western's portfolio; I think it needs a proper makeover. My colleague and I didn't eat in the hotel in the evening; the menu was basic and there was no atmosphere. Breakfast was pretty good, to be fair. The room was clean and comfortable, though the shower (room 125) was small and awkward; it didn't have an internal fan, and the door kept closing, which was annoying. All in all the whole place seems 'tired'; it really could be so much better."

"Beautiful room and four poster bed. Very friendly staff who looked after us even though we were late checking in. "

"The room was spacious, and provides was a complimentary breakfast and beverages to drink. The ensuite is a nice large size. Car parking can be a bit of a squeeze if there are guests with cars staying in all of the flats. There was good friendly communication with the owner most of the time. The WiFi was working, but for some reason not the smart TV. Maybe a previous guest messed it up. The house is on a good bus route, with a stop across the road and regular buses into Derby city centre and late ones back. I would stay here again, despite the negativees about the TV not working during my one night stay and having to park on gravel because all the proper parking spaces were taken. "
