Red Roof Inn Knoxville Central - Papermill Road
The hotel was clean and good for one night. They are in the middle of renovation so it was a little lacking. Once the renovation is completed I am sure the hotel will be even better

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Knoxville Airport
Fine place to stay. Only rated a bit lower because the elevator was not working. We had to lug our luggage upstairs. Undoubtably,, fixed by now.

THE TENNESSEAN Hotel
Excellent visit. We stayed at The Tennessean for convenience to the University of Tennessee tour we had scheduled. We appreciated the local recommendations for what to see and where to eat.
