Suits well for one night stay.

We stayed one night and this hotel suits well for this purpose. It is clean and they even have a small pool. The staff is nice and ready to help. There is a strange smell in the rooms, but again for one night it's OK.

โรงแรมสะอาด ห้องพักดี

โรงแรมไม่วุ่นวายสะดวกสบาย ใกล้ทะเลเดินทางไม่ยาก บริเวณใกล้เคียงมีร้านอาหารใกล้ๆ มีรถสองแถวขับผ่านไปมา ทำให้คนที่ไม่มีรถเดินทางได้ง่ายขึ้น มีฟิตเนสเล็กๆ และมีสระว่ายน้ำสำหรับคนชอบออกกำลังกาย

worst hotel in koh chang

La carte pour entrer dans la chambre n a pas fonctionner a notre retour vers 2h du matin on a du attendre un technicien ,une fois dans la chambre la clim fonctionner mais ne donnait pas de froid du coup très chaud toute la nuit et a 5:30 du matin toute les lumière se sont soudainement allumée toute seule ! Quand a la piscine le carrelage n est pas fini donc très facile de se couper !!

Siisti ja uudehko hotelli. Parvekkeen ritilät vähän oudot, estivät maiseman katselun. Rannalle oli matkaa, mutta hotellilta ilmainen, moitteeton kuljetus. Hotellin uima-allas hyvä ja lavitsoja tarpeeksi. Lähellä hyviä ravintoloita.

Nettes Hotel an guter Lage

Hatte ein Studiozimmer für Fr. 100.--. Abgesehen vom üblen Modergeruch wars gut. Schöner Pool. Die Lage ist super. Manchmal lärmig in der Nacht, konnte trotzdem gut schlafen.

Hotellet var väldigt prisvärt, fin pool men dock lite liten, men vi var nästan alltid helt ensama där så det gjorde inte så mycket. Bra läge om man vill hyra moped, annars ca 5-10 minuters promenad till en fin mysig strand. Dålig internationell frukost dock.

Moderni hotelli lähellä Kai Baeta

Olimme esittäneet toiveen huoneesta, jossa oli kaksi erillistä sänkyä, mutta saimme huoneen parisängyllä. Huone oli erittäin siisti ja meille luvattiin että voimme vaihtaa huoneen seuraavana päivänä kun vapautuu ja sen myös teimme. Uusi huoneemme oli kuitenkin hieman epäsiisti ja jostakin sinne oli päässyt gekko livahtamaan, mutta eivät ne nyt niin haitannut lomailua. Netti hotellissa oli aika surkea ja pätki usein.

Interesting 90s decor! But hey, you're on Koh Chang so doesn't matter. This hotel is in a very good location at one end of the main road with restaurants etc at the Hat Khlong Phrao stretch of beach. It's a ten minute walk to the beach itself and several others nearby.

In der Nebensaison bietet The Gallery ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für wenig Geld bekamen wir ein komfortables Zimmer mit allem, was zu einem guten Zimmer gehört und die Möglichkeit, den schönen Pool und die bequemen Liegen am Strand beim Schwesterhotel Emerald zu nutzen. Wir sind schon zum zweiten Mal im The Gallery zu Gast und können es wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Nice hotel with great service provided

Great service, staff were very friendly and accommodating, nice and clean room, serviced everyday. Location was not great but we had a scooter which allowed us to travel to where we needed to go. The bar across the street had a band playing every night, quite loud and singers were not in tune. A bit annoying when we chose to stay in for the night. Overall a nice hotel with great service. Just not the greatest location.

Friendly staff, expensive and overrated.

Stayed for three nights. Upon arrival we had to change pillows since they smelled terrible. Additionally, one of the lights didn't work in the room (a problem that hasn't been solved during our stay). The owners had the splendid idea to install a bar in the same corridor as some rooms. So, be aware for some loud music until 1pm. Breakfast is there, but no great deal. In general: friendly helpfull staff, but the hotel isn't worth it's price.

Kleines Boutique Hotel mit kleinem Pool

Musste einmal umziehen, da es im Zimmer streng roch. Wurde aber mit großer Freundlichkeit umquartiert. Die Zimmer zur Straße hin sind es etwas laut.

You won't find a better hotel for the price...

Brand new hotel. Good breakfast and pricey but nice bar on roof. Maids broke a bottle of whiskey in my room and it was promptly replaced with a new bottle. I would definitely stay again!

Noisy guests. Young staff. Good sister hotel

A new hotel, situated in a good place for getting to the local bars & restaurants. The staff speak very good English but they are all fairly young, so when I complained about noisy guests in the room above (feet banging on the floor from about 6o'clock every morning) they didn't do anything about it. So I had to make my feelings known directly to the guests which then caused friction. The breakfast was always cold. The tea was like water and undrinkable. I eventually complained and was able to get a teabag for my tea and ordered scrambled eggs which did come down hot. The bread was left out and uncovered so was often rock hard. The good thing is that the hotel has a bar on the top floor & plays music from about 9o'clock every evening so you can sit and chill. It also has a sister hotel that you can use the beach and swimming pools there (only 10 minute walk).

Laut und ungemütlich

Wir waren 5 Nächte im Hotel, um es vorneweg zu sagen: ohne die Möglichkeit die Anlage des Schwesterhotels Emerald Cove nutzen zu können wären wir nach einem Tag wieder abgereist. Das Hotel weist massive Baumängel auf, alles wirkt schmuddelig und schlecht durchdacht. Das Frühstück ist jeden Tag gleich, hartes Toastbrot, Zuckersäfte, schlechter Kaffee. Regelmäßig am Wochenende gibt es Partys auf der Rooftopbar, die Musik ist deutlich im Zimmer zu hören. Die Managerin rechtfertigt sich damit, dass ab 1 Uhr leisere Musik gespielt wird. Pool ist nicht benutzbar, da ab 8 Uhr laute Musik gespielt wird. Die Gäste werden unnötig verärgert, es wäre wirklich leicht mit ein paar Handgriffen (Frühstück, Pool) das Gesamtbild etwas zu verbessern.

Das Hotel befindet sich an der Hauptstrasse von der Insel. Es gibt kaum Parkmöglichkeiten wenn man mit dem Auto anreist (ca. 6 Parkplätze). Das Personal könnte sich etwas mehr mit dem Gast befassen (lange Wartezeiten). Die Zimmer und das Bad sind sehr klein. Der Balkon ist ein Käfig, Aussicht gleich null. Die Poolbesucher können jedoch auf den Balkon sehen. Preis-Leistung: nicht empfehlenswert werde das Hotel nicht noch einmal buchen.

Nichts für Leute, die Ruhe mögen!

Pro: - das Hotel macht einen neuwertigen, modernen, recht schicken Eindruck - Restaurants + Geschäfte in der Nähe - Privatstrand des Schwesternhotels problemlos nutzbar + Liegen und Schirm vorhanden - Tv, Safe, Klimaanlage Contra: - trotz Buchung eines Zimmers mit Bergblick wurde mir zunächst ein dunkler Raum im Untergeschoss angeboten - Umtausch erst auf Nachfrage - mir war nicht bewusst dass sich auf dem Dach eine Open Air Disco befindet, d.h. fast tägliche Beschallung bis 00:30 Uhr!!! - Luftlinie sind es zum Strand nur wenige Hundert Meter, aber da ist eine Lagune dazwischen, d.h. mindestens 10 - 15 Minuten Fußweg - Ameisen im Badezimmer - bloß nichts essbares rumliegen lassen!

5 star design poorly built but highly caring staff

Top modern hotel, best building materials used, cool design, but completed by surprisingly low-skulled workers. Best, full breakfast, top cleanliness, great outside swimming pool and bar area, very friendly and helpfull staff doing their absolute best.
