"The room was spotless and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The AC is great! The resort is remote, which is great - but worth stocking up on sunscreen and snacks before you arrive. Also, the beach is stunning - starting to collect some garbage along the shore - but exquisite.
Overall, we loved it."

"Hanung, his staff, Fern, the owners and everyone was hospitable. Very friendly and made you feel like you're at home. The bungalows were very clean and the view to the ocean was amazing. I would recommend for anyone that wants a private setting or even family friendly setting this is the place. They can help you with motor bike rentals to finding you a nice relaxing massage on the beach. We went about 12 minutes on motor bike to a nice cozy restaurant called mangrove where the food was delicious...

Shantaa may not have a pool or televisions in their rooms but it is still a top notch resort. The grounds are well-kept and the snorkeling on the rocky side of the beach is excellent. The swimmming side past the pier has stunningly clear waters and when we were there in late May, the waters were calm. Food in the restaurant was deliciIous and reasonably priced. The view from our room was scenic and I could see the sea right from my bed. The staff were also attentive and friendly and we had an...

The best part of my stay is the impeccable service of the staff who were extremely attentive and helpful. There is not much else in the area except for a small eatery and a couple of other resorts, but I had the best time just relaxing by their little beach and swimming in the sea. They could improve on the food in the restaurant (but it's not bad, by any means). Otherwise, I really enjoyed my stay at The Beach.
