A great resort on a wonderful Thai Island, Good swimming and snorkelling. Friendly helpful staff and good food. Oriental Beach cottages are great with lovely sea views

Best stay of our trip. The resort is the best on the island as it is nice with a big white sandy Beach but also closest to the good snorkeling. The food of the restaurant was fantastic and we felt safe leaving money and Kindles and phones in our room and on the beach in the bungalows. There is not a lot of people on the island and it was really relaxing! Highly recommend it! I think the only drawback that I can think of is maybe not allowing motorbikes on the resort until 8:30 or 9:00 a.m. otherwise fantastic!

Super Lage, Koh Ngai ist eine sehr ruhige und schöne Insel. Abseits des Trubels mit einem wunderschönen Strand. Für 3 Tage Entspannung die perfekte Wahl.

Super, au calme, plage et snorkeling

Très bien, hôtel au calme loin de tout, kids friendly. La plage est dingue et le snorkeling est génial (plus à faire à marée basse). A porté de masque et tuba. Les prix sur l’île sont un peu plus élevé qu’à Bangkok ou Chiang Mai mais pas plus qu’à Koh Lanta. Cela reste très abordable. Le petit dej est inclus. Personnel très serviable qui a porter nos sacs et qui a su résoudre un soucis avec une réservation de bateau ailleurs (le bateau était parti sans nous, ils les ont appelé pour qu’ils reviennent nous chercher, ce qu’ils ont fait). Rien à redire, on y retournerait!

Sehr schöne Anlage, Bungalows und Bad geräumig, sauber und geschmackvoll, ein paar Kleiderhaken mehr wären gut, aber das ist in Thailand generell so. dass es wenig Ablage- und Aufhängemöglichkeiten gibt. Schöner, sauberer Poolbaus Steinplatten, toller Strand, freundliches Personal, sehr entspannter Aufenthalt.

Top verblijf

Super verblijf en super aardige staff. Kregen gratis upgrade naar Hillview (trappen lopen vonden wij niet erg). Goede massage, top strand met prachtig snorkelen voor de deur, geen longtailboats voor de deur, goed eten, leuke bar, fijn zwembad en genoeg stoelen in de schaduw aan het strand. Het beste resort op het eiland!

Vi oplevede at øen var meget stille og rolig. Godt at snorkle ud for hotellet.. personalet var meget venlige og maden god på restauranten. Vi havde to skønne dage kom gerne tilbage.

Ottima scelta

Bellissimo resort immerso in un giardino con fiori e piante. Il bungalow pulito e dotato di ogni comfort, mi è piaciuto particolarmente il terrazzo affacciato sul laghetto e da cui si intravedeva il mare. Staff molto gentile e disponibile. Ottima colazione con varie scelte dolci e salate e ottima frutta fresca

Et lidt træt hotel med god beliggenhed

Hvis man kan lide Lalandia med masser af dansker og børn er dette stedet. Hvis du vil have fred og ro så vælg Paradise Beach i stedet for. Stedet trænger til en opdatering. Vi havde en bungalow med hav udsigt men da der ikke var et tyndt gardin man kunne trække for, kan alle se ind i hytten med mindre man træk det store tunge gardin for. 😏 De hytter det ligger foran poolen, ligger meget tæt. Vælg evt. de bagerst værelser som ligger højt oppe hvis du ønsker mere privatliv. Morgenmaden og aftensmaden var god. Vi var der over en weekend og kl 8:00 var alle solstole optaget. Vandet er lækkert når der ikke er tidevand.

Rent, trevlig personal och god mat. Mycket god frukost. Läget nära stranden var fantastiskt. Att man kunde ta ner solsängar till stranden var ett plus. Hårda sängar och restaurangen var rätt dyr. Bättre att gå och äta på stranden.

Strandbungalow entspricht nicht unseren Vorstellun

Das resort und die bungalow sind sehr schön. Toll ist der Pool, da wir 3 Tage z. T. Quallen hatten. Nächstes Mal werden wir keinen strandbungalow mehr nehmen. Besser im hinterm Teil der Anlage oder am Berg, da bei den strandbungalow direkt davor die Wege zum Strand und restaurant sind und man auf der Terrasse wie auf dem präsemtierteller sitzt!!!

Wir waren nun schon zum 2. Mal im Thanya Beach Resort und werden wiederkommen, da uns hier alles so gut gefällt: die freistehenden Bungalows & ihr Baustil, die Weitläufigkeit der gesamten Anlage, der tropische Garten, der Sandstrand, das Hausriff, die Freundlichkeit des Personals...auch, wenn man in anderen Regionen Thailands für das gleiche Geld schickere Zimmer bekommen kann, hier stimmt für uns das Gesamtpaket!

A few nights after NYE

I think the most important thing to remember is that this is a 3 star resort and therefore, should be judged on being a 3 star resort. Having said that, there were some parts of the resort that could do with some fixing up, such as the verandahs on the front of vlllas (loose boards, wear and tear), the shower was pretty old and not maintained... They have a sign asking you not to flush your toilet paper down the toilet and to place it in the basket next to the toilet instead. A lot of these island resorts really need to sort out their septic problems. I felt that the room was quite expensive for what you got but we did go at peak tourist time, just after New Years Day. The restaurant was good and we really liked most of the food we ate there. I'd skip the croissants at breakfast as they appeared to have been frozen and thawed out and then warmed up... The pool was really dirty with mould growing around the outside of it and on the first day we were there I saw a pile of sludge floating in the top of the pool water. This is definitely a "family" resort and the pool was always occuppied by a lot of children. There were not enough beach chairs for all of the guests and it's very annoying how a lot of guests appear to get up super early to put their towels all over the best chairs and then leave them like that until they feel like using them later in the day. The hotel should implement a 1 hour non use policy like other hotels have.
