Hotels near Koch Aquatic Center

"I don't remember when I had a less enjoyable hotel stay. The photos looked great but the reality wasn't as good. Our room was located near a rear exit but we didn't want to park back there due to several sketchy people, standing around smoking. That night, there was a party very near our room that finally ended around 5:30am. The bed was comfortable but the white quite was quite stained. The floor looked dirty so I wore slippers all the time. The inside window pane was shattered, and the curtain closed to hide it. Breakfast was very thin, with just sweet cereals, milk and juice. Not a big deal. Mostly I was concerned about the security of the parking area and the riff-raff hanging around. We won't be staying here again."

"Major renovations underway during my stay but that aside, everything was good. Did not buy the breakfast."

"The room seemed clean enough and the towels and sheets were clean, but the room had an odor like it had been closed up a long time. Since I was there three nights I bought some air freshener. The door did not have a strike plate just a hole in the metal frame where it used to be. The door latched but didn’t seem very solid. The wall in the bathroom had been repaired but not painted yet so the room didn’t seem ready to be occupied. Plus the outside door at the end of the hall didn’t close all the way so seems like there is still work being done there as well. I was on the first floor and every morning when it was time for breakfast, there were a lot of banging doors in the hall. Way too many to be guests so it seemed that some door the staff went back and forth through made a lot of noise whether I was ready for the day or not. To be fair, I did not raise any of these concerns with the staff for them to try to fix, but not sure I would stay there again."

"Staff was very friendly and were helpful in searching out dinner ideas. Rooms were clean and workout room was well stocked. Great place to stay!"
