They make a great Tom Khai Kai, Pad Se-eew Goong and Pad Thai(no tofu at it is dried out). Enjoy. #market

Great time!

My stay at Hello backpackers was amazing! The hostel was clean, the rooms were cleaned everyday. The people working there are super nice and made sure we had a great time. The showers were a little dingy, but it's a hostel on Samui... it's totally fine! There is hot water in 2 of the showers, not all. So go in the first 2 showers if you want hot water. I met amazing people there and had the time of my life while staying at this place. But again, it's the people you meet in a hostel that will make or break your stay. Mine was amazing!

Good hostel for young people

Good place to meet other travellers, the staff were helpful, lovely and fun, and cleaned the room everyday. beds had powerpoints next to each one and a curtain for some privacy. Had a good stay here Koh Samui is beautiful and so chilled out, with a party scene of you want it, otherwise a chilled holiday if not.

Cheap hostel close to beach but very basic

Staff were very helpful the showers were very average and take your own toilet paper. The curtains on the beds were good

The most amazing hostel I have ever stayed at!!!

I am currently backpacking throughout Thailand and came to Koh Samui on a whim. I met some amazing life-long friends here from all over the world. The staff is friendly, the A/C is cool, lockers are safe, showers get the work done, beds are okay, the beach is a two minute walk away, a convenience store is within walking distance, and AMAZING memories. The hostel also helps book any tours, transfers, taxi service, anything that you need! The hostel receptionist, COYOPA, is a gem. He is so lovely and has your best interests in mind. I have had an amazing experience here. The other hostel mates will possibly make or break your experience, but the chances are slim!! I love HELLO BACKPACKER hostel and so far, it has been the HIGHLIGHT of my entire stay......... I want to cry because I love this hostel so much, but yeah, BOOK!!
