Breakfast is good. We stayed at a garden villa, which had its own pool next to a patio. Bathroom is spacious, and so is the room. The property is older, but I have had no issues with the cleanliness. This hotel is next to a beautiful beach.

We got the swim up room for the first half and LOVED it. There were tiny things here and there you can tell the room just needs a deep clean and polishing of the silver but otherwise, it was WORTH the money for the swim up. The wifi is really terrible so don't try to work while you're there or take conference calls because you will be dropped. Great quiet location w good highly rated restaurants nearby you can walk to. Staff was so sweet and friendly, esp housekeeping. My only gripe was the crappy wifi. They even tried to fix it with our second room and it was still spotty and dropped conference calls at 3am at night even with a new router in the room.

Amazing resort! Highly recommend staying here. It was by far the nicest place we stayed at. Good location, right on the beach, huge complementary breakfast, clean and big rooms and the staff is really nice and helpful.

Hotel is nice and staff very friendly. But there was reconstruction during our stay in the breakfast/Lobby area which was leading to noise. Furthermore we found screws and other building material by the sunbeds not very good. I would advise that in future the hotel should be closed for such improvements.

Very nice hotel close to the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and included a separate buffet for Thai food which was excellent! Room was spacious and patio/deck was enjoyable. My one and only complaint is with the laundry. I had some laundry done and it came back reeking of smelly perfume. I had to seal up those clothes in a plastic bag because they smelled so bad and I could not wear them. Even after washing them at home three times, there is still the smell of toxic perfume chemicals. I do not know what was used on my clothes but I would encourage the hotel to stop using toxic smelly perfumey products in their laundry. Thank You.

Great for the beachfront pool villas
Come for the beachfronting villas with private pools and wonderful attentive service. Breakfast and food was generally passable. Not much else to speak of.

Nice and quiet hotel right in front of the beach.
Got a room with private pool facing the sea. It’s a bit expensive but the view is fantastic. Able to watch sunrise from the room. Very friendly front office staff but can’t say the same thing for the engineer who came to fix the lock. Restaurants, tour booking offices and spa are within walking distance.

Nice hotel close to the beach
you will be attracted by the huge discount, the hotel worth it exactly what you pay. It is nice resort, but staff is unfriendly and overall it is old, it needs an update. I am pretty sure 10 years ago looked better. Wifi not always worked in the room and staff if so attentive if you take anything from the room, even if you paid already a lot the room. when you check out they make you wait until someone check if you stole those precious flip flop! ridiculous for a 4 star resort. reading other comments on this resort, I made sure I did use anything in the room and I did not to pay any extra.

We found the hotel a little run down, the cleanliness of the room was ok but the breakfast not so good, we paid for a spa room however the spa was broken and we couldn’t use it, there was no offer of help or room change or compensation, we probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Enjoyed my stay at Samui resotel. The beach is almost a part of the resort. So the sound of the waves and the view while having breakfast is surely going to be a treat. Would like to mention the pool facility which was superb again. Breakfast is nice. Recommended highly.

Nice place to stay away from the noise and yet be close to the action. Poolside rooms are great to lay there n listen to the waterfall. Bike rental accross the road at reasonable rates so everything is now at your doorstep. I recommend it to you, my friends and I'd stay there again.

We arrived unannounced a few hours prior to check in and were pleasantly surprised when staff said they will have our room ready for us in half an hour. Staff would not let us carry our own bags. We stayed here for our honeymoon and they had a yummy little love heart shaped "happy honeymoon" cake waiting for us in the room. Staff were always very friendly and smiling. We stayed in one of the delux Seaview rooms on the second level, the room and the view was lovely. We did consider staying in one of the private pool rooms but we were glad we didn't when we got there because they weren't really private as they are all open to the main pool area or directly across from each other. The few at the very front looked amazing though. The room itself was large and felt fresh with all the white. Large bathroom. Good aircon. Rooms cleaned daily and they even folded and put a side some of my husbands clothes for him. Breakfast included was good; a great selection of food and eggs made to order. The resort was undergoing some renovations to the front which for us wasn't really an issue, we didn't notice much noise. The pool bar wasn't functional (not seemily due to the renos) which was a little disappointing. Gym is basic with a few cardiovascular machines and a few free weights but works and does have air con. We hired a scooter so went a little bit away from the area to eat but there was a few restaurants near by. We extended our stay here by another 3 nights and would stay again.

Dissapointed for the money we spent.
We arrived early, 1030 and were allowed to leave our luggage there and explore. This we did, having lunch and arriving back at the hotel at 2.45 only to find our room was not ready. We waited another 35 min in the lobby before it was right to go. On entering the room we found it to be clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed, even down to washing powered to clean our cloths. There were 2 queen size beds in the room, which would have been better if it was one bed and a sitting area with lounge or something similar, but that is just what we would have liked. Beware, if you drop a glass by accident, they charge you!!!. We paid $250 Aus odd per night and one would assume that one broken glass would be covered by this fee, but NO. The plunge pool included in our unit was very welcoming and we used it several times, however be VERY careful getting in and out as the grill that the water washes into is dodgy and my Husband stood on it and it fell into the grate cutting his foot. We informed them that the ledge the grill was sitting on was not wide enough to hold this but all they did was put it back in place for it to happen again. BEWARE if you have children as this could have terrible results. And the last thing was that the breakfast was stone cold every day we went. If you wanted other than cereal or fruit, Everything in the Bane Maries was always cold. WE ate at 8.30 one day and 6.30 another so it wasn't just the time, it was the service.

Checked in and was taken two a room which had 2 beds! I never book 2 beds so I felt as though they had tried to slip one past me with the shock and awe. Took them over an hour to clean the new room which we sat at the bar during happy hour and purchased our on drinks. This really took me over the edge. After waiting over an hour and the staff not letting me know the room was ready did it for me.

Excellent Hotel. Wonderful staff.
I cannot speak highly enough of this Hotel. Excellent spacious rooms, impeccably clean. Wonderful location on beach. However, the highlight for me was the incredible staff. The friendliness, efficiency, happiness and willingness to help at all times was as good as I have ever experienced. They are superb! Great Hotel. Definitely will stay again, next time for much longer. Terrific value for money.

Just a tourist trap, way over rated. I'm sure if you bother to stay here it will be only once, like us. We will never return as their are much nicer places to stay. Looks and sounds real nice but not, no sitting area except on the bed. No microwave, ac inefficient, view straight into your room from three neighboring rooms. I'm sure they have no repeat guests. Breakfast wasn't bad.... Nuff said......

Great location nice and quiet part of beach. Happy hour cocktails were nice, breakfast was good. Nice beds and pillows. Convenience store and atm nearby. Water pressure a little unstable so the pipes under bath tub burst and staff were a bit slow to respond telling us to wait in our room and they would send someone, but no one came until sometime went to reception and yelled at them then they quickly resolved it.

Nice quiet hotel by beach
After flooding the bathroom due to a blockage in the bath. The staff moved us to a new room at 1am. Rooms are comfortable and breakfast was of a good standard for Asia. Big plus point was a good powerful shower which refreshed you from the heat. Pool had jets which was very welcome for the muscles after walking on beach

Convenient hotel
The resort is near many restaurants when you walk on the main street. The breakfast was a simple western breakfast. I only realised that chaweng beach water is very murky and cannot snorkel at all, maybe it is because it has just passed monsoon when i went there. Overall it is good and not so noisy as it is away from the noisy area of chaweng which is central festival area while riding on a tuk tuk will get you there with a cheap fare. The pool linked room is a disappointment as the water is only 1.5 m and the width of the swimming pool was so small i cant even swim breatstroke luckily they have a bigger main pool nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful too.
