Great sized room, small bathroom though. Really convenient location. The property allowed moped rental which was helpful for us to get around the island. We also booked a snorkelling trip through the hostel which was great. The only negative we had with our stay was the noise at night from a busy road however we put our earplugs in and managed to sleep just fine.

The best hostel I ever stayed on

I had stayed at summer before and I just had to come back. The atmosphere is the best. If you just want to chill you can do that. If you want to party I am sure that the volunteers are up to that too. I love that this hostel isn’t a party hostel which many hostels are in Koh tao. The staff are perfect as well. They are so helpful and if you ask nice they will tell you where you can get the best food, best view and best nightout. 10/10 from me ☀️❤️

Backpacker‘s Paradise

I loved to stay there, it is nice, clean and sweet. Nicky is a great host, you can ask everything, she will help you. Book a scooter, laundry service, excursions, transportation to the ferry - she and her team are so helpful and nice! I had a spacious room on my own on the first floor - with balcony an AC. You are near to a lot of bars and restaurants, but too far away to hear the noise. There is a supermarket in the opposite of the hostel.

Stay here on your trip to Ko Tao!!

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at the Summer Guesthouse! We stayed in one of the private double rooms...it was the biggest and nicest room from our entire trip in Thailand! We had three nights booked and extended it to six. Rooms are made up everyday which was quite luxurious; water and coffee replenished, bed made up. And talking about the bed!! ... so comfy with nice sheets, had the best sleeps for the nights we needed it while doing a dive course. Will go back again on our next trip to Ko Tao :)

A very satisfied customer

Summer Guesthouse is an excellent place to stay when visiting Koh Tao. The staff at reception could be improved, but Nikki, the person who answers online bookings, is extra efficient. The room I stayed at for almost a week was perfect, clean and included all amenities. The walk to the beach every day was pleasant. I highly recommend this establishment.

Friendly and cozy place to stay. Nice sociable outside area. Beds are comfy, shower is nice and hot. Staff are friendly as well. Highly recommend!!

The room was perfect! The staff wasn’t very welcoming. The room is three floors up with no elevator. But there room itself is very homey, clean and spacious. There’s a refrigerator as well.
