"The staff went above and beyond to make sure the guests comfortable. There was hot and cold breakfast available at the hotel at a reasonable price. The hotel is located walking distance to the city center. I walked to the beautiful church. It is nearby bus stop #9 something I wish I knew. Great location!!"

"Excellent location central to downtown and everything is in walking distance. Plenty to do. Great service. The rooms are small but all rooms are small in Iceland. If we do come back to Reykjavik we will definitely have stay here again. "

"Really cool place. Staff was completely amazing. Above and beyond. And the breakfast was one of the most amazing I’ve ever had! I’d go back just for that!! The berry juice was so good, and so much variety. The restaurant looks out over the lake. Hot tub was just ok. Area around the hotel very pretty. Room was very spacious and well appointed, if dated in style. Removed one star for a musty smell and the very weird decor, including a strange and out of place Mexico theme. "
