"I like the place. very nice, very clean. The housekeeping & reception as well as the staff at the bar are very friendly and because of that i feel very welcomed whereby I invited many of my friends to stay there again a few days after my first visit. BUT on my second visit with my friends we are disappointed when the property don't offer banana boat ride anymore because they said that they don't have a driver. Top Kota Belud Hotel Reviews

Nexus Resort & Spa Karambunai

10/10 Excellent

"Great polite staff, very helpful, very happy. Nexus is a beautiful, picturesque escape from the normal hustle and bustle of everyday life. We would definitely book this place again. Just be sure to pack the insect repellent as you would going to any beach."

Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Kota Kinabalu

8/10 Good

"We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Shangri la. The hotel is beautiful and the food was amazing. I wish I had asked for the receipe for some of the breakfast dishes!! Staff were very pleasent and always willing to help. Thank you Mariana for cleaning our room and leaving a lovely birthday message for my friend."

Borneo Beach Villa & Suite

10/10 Excellent

"The Borneo Beach Villa is an incredible value! The South China Sea is beautiful, clear and clean!! The villa is as pictured though with some wear and tear - though still lovely and spacious. We stayed in a unit with its own pool that was on the beach. The staff was very responsive. I would recommend renting a car if you are not too intimidated by driving on the left."
