I did not care so much for the strong smell of cigarette smoke when i walked in to 1st check in.
My boys said the pool water was so cold that they could not reslly enjoy it.
I DID take notice and have much respect for the property owner and management team for showing respect to our Country by displaying the American flag atop the Hotel and out of all hotels i seen in Las Vegas, Rio was the ONLY one.
My Father was a WW2 Veteran.

We recently stayed at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The location couldn’t be more perfect — right in the heart of the Strip, with easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment. The hotel itself has a fun, energetic vibe and a unique Hollywood theme that makes the whole place feel exciting and different from other resorts.
Our room was spacious, clean, and modern with amazing views of the Strip. The beds were super comfortable, and the Hollywood memorabilia throughout the hotel added a fun touch. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made check-in a breeze.
We loved the pool area — it was lively but not overcrowded, with great drink service and plenty of loungers. The casino was vibrant and had a good variety of table games and slots. Plus, being connected to the Miracle Mile Shops meant we had tons of great restaurants and stores just steps away.
Overall, Planet Hollywood delivered a fantastic Vegas experience. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, centrally located, and energetic hotel on the Strip!

Love the spacious studio-style room complete with kitchenette and cozy living room. Also appreciated free parking, and loved the pool and hot tub being open later till 10 pm. The only convenient time to use the pool in Vegas in the summer is after sundown. Also liked that it’s quiet. We came to Vegas with our own vehicle from So Cal, so this was convenient for us since we didn’t need to be in the Strip on this trip.
