The grounds were lovely and nicely maintained. Great location. Quick walk from pier, shops and the beauty beach!! Fun seeing the monkeys come around the pool area. Staff were helpful but I was very disappointed with my room/cabin mostly because I paid a lot for it. Worth less than 1,000TBH . It was among the higher priced places I stayed and possibly the worst room. Outdated tv (no problem I didn’t need tv anyway), hard bed (common in Thailand) but the room overall was basic and cockroaches in my bathroom at night (again ok it’s Thailand) but the room didn’t feel cozy or comfortable to me.

This hotel was on the East side. It had a long uphill walk way to the hotel. We stayed at the bungalows. Its needed updating. Great AC and a fan. Fan was a huge plus. They restocked the rooms on a daily. Walking distance to everything. Breakfast buffet was good. The property needed work. Beds were hard. I got bite by a lot of mosquitoes there. Would recommend for the price and location. It’s on the East side of Railay Beach.

We enjoyed our stay at Diamond Cave Resort. Despite being a bit outdated, the bungalow was clean, AC was cold and requests were met with friendly faces from the staff.

Check in ends at 8pm and was a bit of a pain with the poor Night guard who was trying his best but was clearly not hired to check people in. Pool closes very early too. Which is a shame because its a nice pool.

Batifil place great beaches
Lovely location nice pool and great service. Short walk to amazing beaches. Bit quiet when I was there due to covid but starting to come back to life. It didn’t mention on the email how to get there ( by boat) so the poor old taxi driver was driving about for ages until he rang reception and sorted it.

This hotel is great bang for your buck! It is clean, has a beautiful pool and is situated right in the mountains. We stayed in a bungalow which was absolutely perfect for us. The staff were great and allowed us to extend our stay 2 nights. It is so close to tons of great restaurants and views. It's about 10 minutes to west railay beach where boats would drop you off!

Area wise this property is ideal in a very good location walking distance to everything but away enough to be peaceful. The hotel itself isn’t the cleanest we woke up the first night to a ridiculous amount of cockroaches running around the room and when we went to the hotel reception they did not even seem bothered about, not even a sorry or we will come clean your room, would definitely stay on the island again as it’s a beautiful place but would stay at another resort.

Was here a few years ago and the experience is the same as then. Its a good hotel but nothing fancy. The only thing that could be improved, are the beds. They are to hard.

The Diamond Cave Resort is the worst place i have ever experienced. It ruined much of our holiday. The hotel staff do not care to be helpful of you dod not pay full price for your room. They actually asked people how much they paid for their room before they would help answer questions. It was horrible and pathetic and i would never ever ever let anyone i know stay there. The room itself was fine. That was the only redeeming factor. The bed was comfortable. They made us pay extra for the air con even though it was already included in the rooms we booked online. It was overall the absolute WORST hotel experience i have ever had. The hotel staff are rude and unkind. The photos are deceiving. Do not stay here. I have never said that about a place before. It is one big giant suckfest. And so disappointing given this was the one place i was most excited about.

Diamond Cave was great! Awesome location a little bit away from the super busy resorts but a comfortable walking distance. The beds could have been slightly more comfortable but all around great stay. Will be back!

Good choice for young families.
Our room had seen better days, however it was clean and comfortable and the location was great. The staff were efficient and friendly. This hotel is recommended for family stays - particularly for those with younger children- as it is quiet. On check in I was told I had been upgraded, but I’m not convinced the room allocated was any better than that booked. The room comes with a list of charges should there be damage to any article including shampoo dispenser and room tray! Even tho some aspects of management were a little harsh, I would stay here again with or without my teenage children.

We had a free upgrade upon check in. The rooms were really nice and the balcony was spacious. You will have a good night sleep because there is no noise. This year we didnt make use of the swimming pool but the pool is really nice knowing so from last years visit.

Quiet location- my husband and son enjoyed the peacefulness of this place and the fact that it was really quiet. My son caught a bunch of fish in the pond and the staff were friendly and kind. The rooms could use some updating although they were good. There was no water pressure in the showers and it was inconsistency warm/cool and basically trickled out. There were ants in the rooms which is ok but it may bother some people. The breakfast was ok but it was the same every day with little to no variation. The dinner was ok- definitely not much to write home about. I think that if they put a little energy into the place, they could definitely fix these things and raise their ratings.

Don't stay here.
For the same price there are MUCH better places to stay in Railay. The wifi doesn't work in the rooms only in the reception, so I don't think this should be advertised with wifi. Also the room was very basic and dated. It smelt of urine and the bedding was old and worn. The pool was nice and the staff helpful and friendly.

Nice hotel close to all areas
In such a warm climate this hotel is fine for your basic needs. It's not all high spec finish but it is all you need out there. The pool is nice, staff helpfull and wifi at reception is excellent with plenty of tables and chairs in the shade so you can stop and do your on line stuff. It's on the east side of tge peninsula so the morning light at breakfast is gorgeous. It's set back in a jungle valley so the plants are lush and you can hear the monkeys call at night. As long as you don't expect 5 star standard then this place is really fine.

Okay for the money but better value nearby
We rented a deluxe A/C cabin, large but barely furnished, not even a chair to sit on. Bathroom door was very low causing me to strike my head several times. Location is fine but long walk up hill to get to resort. When you remove the key it shuts off all power, including the fridge! So you can't keep anything cold and any food in it will spoil. Breakfast is average at best. We stayed 3 nights then moved to another resort nearby which was much nicer, better location and slightly less expensive.
