Getting to this hotel is really hard as you need to get a boat to the floating pier and then get another boat to the hotel as it is quite remote. Getting away from the hotel. You can either walk through the jungle path or you can get a shuttle that comes three times a day before 530 which isn’t helpful if you want to stay out later. Found the hotel had lots of mosquitoes as well as a few lizards which is why we chose to leave. Also the hotel has the name great view, but the trees from our lodge meant that we couldn’t see anything. Breakfast lacked options and made it very hard to prepare yourself for the day. Hotel staff tried to be really helpful. We left because of the amount of mosquitoes, lizards and the remote destination of the hotel. Hotel also provided us with earplugs because the boats are noisy and are crossing the river throughout the night
Above all this, the hotel did kindly give us refund for the remainder of the days that we weren’t staying.
This place is amazing. Lovely big private rooms with balconies. The pool is excellent set in the perfect surroundings. Eat your breakfast with the monkies!
The hotel is away from the busy town and that is a good thing! It may be a trek to get to but very well worth it.

The resort was not quite what we thought it would be. The villas were quite nice but the walls are very thin. The doors have quite large gaps even when closed and locked.
The most important thing that needs to be mentioned is the fact that this property is built on a VERY steep hill. if you have the slightest mobility issue or are not fit, this property is not for you. I had read reviews that there were lots of stairs but that is only in some areas. Other areas are just steep(and I mean steep) hills with no stairs. The villas are also in a thick forested area and there is not much of a view because the vegetation has grown in so much. They say that they have 2 private beaches but they are not for swimming. We had activities booked in Karabi. The activities pick up at 0800hrs at the pier and the resort free water taxi doesn't start running until later. Therefore each time we left the resort we had to pay 700BT to get to the pier. The food at the resort was not very good. We had to walk into town for food each night. There is no transportation into town other than walking. The buffet breakfast at the resort doesn't start until 0800hrs which is late. The island hopping day trips leave from the main pier in Railay. Again this is a walk into town. Save yourself the trouble and stay in Railay near the beach
I almost forgot to mention the water taxi long boats that have no mufflers and run 24hrs a day. They are so loud that the resort provides ear plugs for the guests.
Where do i start. First i received no communication from the resort about how to get there. The Ferry dropped us off at Railay beach and i presumed we could get a tuk tuk from the road. Spoiler alert, they aren’t roads, they’re walking tracks. Yay a 2km walk with my suitcase on a beach side walking track. I get to my room (which is pretty, but old) and yay, mosquitoes all through the room because the sliding glass doors don’t seal properly. Thankfully there is a mosquito net over the bed, unfortunately it’s full of holes.
The steps to the room was steep and i fell down then within 2 minutes of being there. Thankfully every step on the way down and the concrete broke my fall. My body was in so much pain.
The ear plugs they supply you don’t drown out the noise of the constant long tail boats every day and night. The curtains do not block out light so be prepared to wake up with the sun. The blind in my bathroom was broken and falling off the bracket, multiple light switches didn’t work and neither did the exhaust fan in the bathroom.
My friend found leeches in his room and then woke up to find some animal had somehow got in and shredded all his toilet paper.
The pool is lovely and the view is pretty. But you’re surrounded by trees so the view is obscured and you won’t want to swim in the beach with the sewage and water pipes running from the resort to the beach.
To top it all off i was charged double what my best friend was and the hotel didn’t care at all.
Magnifique en tout point. Le calme la vue les chambres la qualité de la literie. Le personnel et un petit déjeuner copieux. Exceptionnel j'y reviendrai.
This was part of an extended, extended trip. It was amazing to be 'stuck' here during covid and we couldn't have made a better choice. The staff was the kindest and it was the most loveliest trip!
There is a lot of uphill walking and a lot of walking to get to and from “town”. Beautiful resort and rooms, though you will hear the long tail boats ALL night. Earplugs are required. Had a couple little lizards in the room and a few ants but it didn’t bother us any. Worth it to be out in nature.
The property is very unique and beautiful! Two separate private beaches with gorgeous views make it really special! Be prepared for a hike aornd the resort as it sits on the hillside! Stunning!
water drop from pool lining to Ocean was very pleasant. When strangers helped me to carry my luggage from Pier to the far last resort was a trip and drag with already broken femur. And, when they were declined to use the pool to cool off by staff was HUGE turn off. Now I know not to ask for permission and just jump in.. Check the map before you select this last resort on the strip, though I learned to appreciate the distance for walking and looking at the nature as it's located in seclusion.

Almost paradise but...
Really good outlook, and is isolated from crowded beaches and commercial beach front. In amongst the tree tops where the wildlife (monkeys) are visible in the evenings.
The main draw back is the ceaseless noise from the long tail boats ferrying workers and guests to other hotels.
Also an issue arose from the booking app that the hotel manager was unwilling to assist with, which is not typical of the hotels generally in Thailand.
Had a lovely stay at this resort Located just a short walk from the main town, the resort has great views, friendly staff, access to a private beach and really cute, comfortable bungalows.
You can feel as if you are actually in paradise surrounded in jungle. also we could experience wonderful sunrise at the quite front beach.
our room was on the top of the hill but it had view so won't complain about it! it was nice experience to feel real Thailand paradise. Resort is small but got a lot of things to do. Restaurant was decent food served very well, Breakfast was also taste nice. Especially Omelet!
Bar had ice cold beer all the time. Lovely and very friendly staff!
Highly recommend to person who want to relax and stay in Railay more then 2 days. Because location wasn't really near from the pier.
Staying here was incredible. Being situated in our own bungalow on the edge of the jungle with monkeys and so much wildlife surrounding us was incredible. The staff were so lovely and always incredibly helpful and the food was delicious. The resort also offer poolside service which was great! The views of and from the pool were breathtaking and the resort is only a short walk away from the rest of Railay. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!
Our room was very large and had a mosquito net which came in very handy.
The view was surreal and the fact there were monkeys casually walking around our balcony made it even more memorable.
There is a bit of background noise with the passing boats but not enough to keep you awake + I’m sure it’s heard from every other hotel in Railay with boat being the only method of transport in & out.
Walk is around 15 minutes to Railay East then your onto the walking street where all the main restaurants & bars are.
Jens,54Jahre/Barbara,40Jahre Juli2019
