Our second stay and both times the friendly staff and property offerings have been excellent for our family. We like that the property is in a quieter, peaceful setting up against a striking cliff. The pool area is perfect with varying depths for different age groups and the breakfast buffet offers something a bit different each day.

Excellent hotel experience away from the hustle and bustle nestled directly beneath a stunning cliff. The staff were exceptional, the restaurant also served great food for breakfast and dinner. The pool layout is also very good. Highly recommended for families.

The staff at this hotel are amazing. They were so kind. when we arrived very late in the evening they greeted us with a refreshing drink and all smiles. LOVED our room right by the pool. It is beautiful by the cliffs. it was quiet. Breakfasts were great (loved their coffee machine). I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Almost perfect

Lovely villas, very well equipped and comfy. Pool area is beautiful and the staff are very nice. Breakfast was a major letdown. Don’t pay for it. Worst hotel breakfast we’ve ever been offered. We chose to not eat it despite paying for it. Very limited choices left out fur a long time. There are great breakfast options in Ao Nang.

The staff made this place memorable. Everyone was Ki’ kind and helpful but a few really wet out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Thomas and Rainy (probably wrong spelling) in the food service remembered specific requests and preferences and adjusted seamlessly to provide just what we wanted every morning for breakfast and more. They also provided excellent suggestions about the area and activities and shared cultural knowledge. Nana at the reception desk was also great, as was Yaya. They were really all great but these were really aware and made us feel like honored guests.

It's a very nice hotel in a beautiful location with a stunning view of the cliff. The pool is big and easily accessible from the villas. However, there weren't enough loungers and parasols for all the guests. The grounds seem to be well maintained and looked after. Unfortunately, we were not impressed with the service and staff with the exception of Thomas who went above and beyond to help and offer advice. Our villa was quite big and spacious. The bed was big but the mattresses very firm and not that comfortable. The bathroom smelled of sewer and the water pressure was terrible. We were given only 1 key to access the room and use it in the power slot which meant we couldn't leave the outside light on in the evening. We didn’t get a 2nd key until we complained that my husband tripped on the step innfrom of the villa because it's so dark.

Amazing mountain view

Nice stay but the rooms needs an update. Not much closet space. Minibar was completely empty on arrival. It’s more like an apartment than a hotel. It has a kitchen. Should rather have some more closet space.

Fantastic little villa hotel.

Wow. This little hotel was outstanding. Perfect location, quiet but only a short distance from main area of Ao Nang for beach, bars etc. spotlessly clean rooms, restaurant and pool area. Pool stunning with cliff view in the background. Excellent breakfast and food served by the restaurant was really good, we ate in the hotel far more than I envisaged we would because of this. Price same in restaurant as for room service. The staff were amazing and what made this place so special. Always smiling. Happy to help, if you needed a ride a member of staff was always on hand to drop you places in the tuk tuk. Would we stay again - 100%. We were so sad to leave.

OMG! What is not to like?! This property was beyond stunning!! Surrounded by lush beauty. Safe area to walk around for an early morning coffee and just sit with the locals. Walking distance to beach and food and shops. The hotel itself was beautiful. Pool a lovely welcome after a day in the heat. Staff were beyond friendly and helpful and they remember you daily. Greeted with a juice upon arrival. Food was delicious. Everything was perfect and the best amenities during our trip to Thailand for sure.

◦ The Scene Cliff Villas overall is a nice hotel. There is a beautiful scenic mountain directly behind the property and long pools in front of the rooms. The breakfast is mediocre, but the staff is mostly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, this review has a low rating because of a bad experience with the front desk. Upon check-in after being transported from our flight, we were told the cost and paid. We were asked if we wanted to pay now or later for our departing transportation. We chose to pay then and also asked about excursions. We were told it was windy, so Phi Phi Beach may be unavailable. We asked that the nighttime receptionist call and ask about the excursions while we got situated in our room. About an hour later, we left for dinner and on our way out asked about the weather condition for the excursion. She had completely forgotten and just said “oh”. Fast forward to check out, we were given our bill and told we had not paid for departure transportation. We assured them that we had paid, and when the morning receptionist contacted the night receptionist, she lied and said we had not paid. Rather than argue or demand that the front desk camera footage be shown to us, we simply paid again. The nighttime receptionist either forgot to book our transportation or she just stole our money.

This review comes from a person who sadly walks around looking for what’s wrong, and I’m super picky. I also pay good money and expect better when I do. I’m hard to please. This property was “untouchable”. Hidden 2 blocks off the loud beaten path, built up and against to the mountains present, this hotel is a touch of Zen. Super clean, all staff speak English, you are hidden from from the trash, zoo atmosphere of Krabi. The pool is fantastic, only 24 rooms so you feel as if the whole hotel is just yours. The rooms were great, clean, plenty of space, great bed, better air conditioning, and the staff does everything for you. Now I had a backed up toilet which I found overflowing upon our return from sight seeing, and the toilet/bathroom reeked. I’m not okay with this although they had 6 people cleaning it and 15 minutes later all the as perfect and the smell was gone. Sadly they did nothing for my bill although I had no bathroom for 24 hours, and it flooded the next day. They offered me a free breakfast, to which I said “”keep it”. It was wrong of them how they handled it. But that shouldn’t take away from how perfect this place is as all the other hotel occupants were raving about the place as well. What happened in my room, was a “one off occurrence”! This hotel was a gem, and we came from The Boathouse in Phuket, which is 5 star. This place measured up in every way. All you hear when there are the birds, and silence. Trust me… I would stay no where RGS2024

We accidentally booked this place at 11 PM at night after being delirious traveling from the US, the next morning, we call to cancel, and the manager would not give us a refund. Now I am battling with my credit card to try to get a refund. We never even stayed here.
