Well, first the front desk person didn't give us a key. So I had to walk all the way back to reception to get the key. Then we noticed that there was no electricity in the room, so I had to walk back again. They told us to switch rooms and gave us the key to the next place. The last thing was that the hair dryer didn't work. Staff wasn't very accommodating or sorry for the multiple inconveniences. Water park was amazing as usual and breakfast was delicious.

Swimming facilities are excellent. Although the lack of food options could be better. Very expensive to dine. No kids option for the buffet dinner, and not much vegetarian options for main meal. Overall a very pricey buffet dinner at sawadee.

Terrible experience

It was a very bad experience at every stage. We waited in line for a long time at the entrance. We were not informed enough about the facility. We had difficulty finding the room we would stay in. The luggage cabinets were too small, our luggage did not fit. When we entered the room, there were a few belongings of previous guests and no towels in the room. We talked about the situation, but 2 hours later the problem was still not solved. Finally, I went to the reception, which was very far from our room, and by speaking to another disinterested, sullen employee, we were able to get 4 small hand towels. We were literally disgraced in a place where we paid a lot of money to stay. The pools were mediocre, it was difficult to find empty sunbeds, food and drink were mediocre. You feel cold after getting out of the pool, the temperature is not enough. The radiators in the corridor as we entered the room were not working and it was very cold. We asked for a taxi at the check-out and they gave us a small piece of paper with 4 mobile phone numbers written on it. We searched and struggled to find a driver. It wasn't a holiday, it was a nightmare. I will never go there again. I also don't recommend it to anyone.

Als wir ankamen stank das Zimmer nach Kanal und die Dusche ist nicht abgelaufen. Es wurde dann zwar behoben, aber der Geruch hatte sich schon irgendwie festgebissen. Nachts laufen die Lautsprecher mit Musik. Diese werden nicht abgestellt auch nicht in der Nähe der Schlafräume. Sauna teilweise keine Aufgüsse, geschlossene Restaurants. Hier bitten sie um Verständnis aber für Saunagänger einfach ungünstig. Und alles andere mittlerweile einfach überteuert.

Standen 45 min für den Check in an. Es gibt auch Automaten, an denen man sich selbstständig mit seinem Buchungscode einchecken kann, aber das geht nicht als Expedia Gast sondern nur, wenn man direkt über Tropical Island gebucht hat. Nach 45 min hab ich mich beschwert und wurde vorgezogen. Sorry für die anderen Gäste leid aber immerhin tat sich nun mal was. Zimmer im Ohana war gut. Man kann leider das Fenster nicht öffnen. Es war milchig und dreckig und muss dringend mal von außen gereinigt werden. Es scheint ein Abfluß Problem zu geben, denn aus dem WC riecht es teilweise echt heftig - auch ohne Benutzung ;-) Schön gestaltetes Kinder Etagenbett, Nespresso Maschine, ordentliche Handtücher, das hat gepasst. Was ein großes Problem ist: der Personalmangel! Ganze Bereiche waren gesperrt. Ich liste mal auf: das Strömungsbecken am Wasserfall war an beiden Tagen dauerhaft geschlossen mit dem Schild, dass wegen zu wenig Personal nicht für unsere Sicherheit garantiert sei. Ok, nachvollziehbar aber dennoch schade. Der große Rutschenturm war ab frühem Abend geschlossen. Der Außenbereich auch, also auch das Wildwasser Becken. Das haben wir also alles am ersten Tag gar nicht nutzen können. Schild am Sauna Eingang, dass die Aufgüsse ab 18 Uhr alle entfallen und der Saunabereich früher schließt. Hatte halt beim reingehen schon ein Foto der Aufgüsse gemacht und da standen alle drauf, hatten uns echt drauf gefreut. Hätte mich ja vor Ort beschwert, aber mir waren die Schlangen war zu lang

Wir kamen mehrere Stunden nicht in unser Zimmer, da das Schloss defekt war und die Rezeption vom Ohana Town war geschlossen. Also durften wir 2x mit dem gesamten Gepäck bis zum Huapteingang vom DOme. Dieser Weg ist nur über mehrere Treppen möglich. Mitarbeiter waren völlig unkompetent. Niemand weiß etwas, will etwas machen und wenn sie wollen, können sie offenbar auch nichts machen. Es ist schon was besonderes gewesen, wenn ein Mitarbeiter hier überhaupt etwas deutsch gesprochen hat. Wir haben eine Familie auf der Suche nach einem Erste Hilfe Standort gesehen, sie fragten mehrfach eine Mitarbeiterin danach. Diese Hat es nicht vertsnaden und zuckte nur mit der Schulter "kein deutsch", auch das englsiche First Aid kannte sie nicht und zuckte weiterhin mit der Schulter.... Ohne Worte. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer mit 4 Personen. Auf dem Zimmer gab es dann 2 handtücher. Auf Nachfrage per Telefon beim Kundenservice hieß es, dass sie leider keine weiteren Handtücher mehr haben. Sie könnten uns noch einen Bademantel anbieten..... Bei diesen überteuerten Preisen ist das alles völlig inakzeptabel. Wir haben kein Sterne Hotel erwartet, aber zumindest eine brauchbare unterkunft.
