"We stayed for two days in this lovely place Sand in Taufers. Its pretty small place, just some bars and restaurants are available but you're so close to the mountains so it was perfect for our hiking trip. The hotel itself looks on the webpage pretty cool and totally new. We booked a superior suite (€ 460 for two nights) and honestly we were more than disappointed regarding the room. "Loved our stay here. We had a family apartment with two bedrooms and 1 and a half baths. Perfect for my husband and I along with our three grandchildren. Walk to river takes less than 10 minutes and there is a splendid walking and cycling path there. Beautiful town and hotel. "
