Temple Visit
I suggest and recommend that the hotel should provide an alarm clock in the room. Also, the hotel should provide hand towels in addition to the bath towels.

Good hotel to stay in Kumbakonam. I stayed in deluxe room and the room was very spacious clean and tidy. The bathroom was very clean and the room was serviced daily.

Though in the center of the town near the tank, the immediate surroundings are also maintained well . It has a good veg restaurant. Restaurant staff are very courteous .

We stayed for 3 nights. Not once was the room cleaned.. no fresh towels, no bathroom cleaning for 3+ days! We paid for extra bed (11 yr old) ahead of time. The room boy brought a mattress and laid it on the FLOOR! Asked why no bed frame.. says it costs extra! Pathetic! Checkin desk is manned by a bunch of ex-college boys. Unprofessional. Bad experience, to say the least. Not going back.

Gutes Hotel in der Stadt
Lage in der Stadt ist sehr gut, genau gegenüber dem Mahamaham tank. Die Zimmer sind schon in die Jahre gekommen. Das Kabel des Föhns fällt auseinander und die Ausstattung ist abgenutzt. Die Matratze ist teilweise kürzer als das Bett und es gibt zwar einen Wasserkocher, aber weder Tee noch Kaffee. Uns wurde am letzten Tag keine Flasche Wasser mehr an die Tür gestellt. Ansonsten war das Zimmer sauber, die Klimaanlage funktionierte gut, der Schrank ok (leider kein Safe) und keine Bettwanzen.
