"Very well located in the lovely medieval city of Rheinfelden - a few minutes from the train station, the Rhein (as the name suggests!), shops, restaurants, cultural centres and very pretty walks. The hotel itself is well run, friendly, comfortable and peaceful. Highly recommend"

"It was absolutely fantastic. An old Villa transformed in a boutique hotel with great personality. It is like to be at home but even better! Many languages are spoken there! Rooms are gigantic and furniture is practical yet with a neat design, although the rooms look very romantic. The cosy lounge at the first floor with the balcony and the garden outside complete the picture...."

"The hotel has no reception personnel. To enter the building from the garage, or the main entrance, you need to have a 4 digit code that should be included in the booking confirmation - this code did not come with the confirmation from expedia. The telephone at the keypad from the garage had its cord ripped out of the wall, so it was not usuable to gain entry. Once inside, you had to check-in at a terminal that required the booking code. Very hot in summer. Aircon ineffective

"Had challenges getting into the building in the evening as the instructions were difficult to get into the building itself. Out of hours support outside of the building wasn't clear until we got into the block. It also wasn't clear you can park the car in the car park and go up in the lift with your digital room key. The biggest issue was when we got into the room the air conditioning wasn't effective and was too hot to stay in. Things to note: We visited during a heatwave, so the place maybe fine in winter. Residents in the block confirmed the excessive temperature was the norm however. The information on connecting to the WiFi was also incorrect and there was no information or help guide in the rooms (something id highly recommend once the temperature of the rooms and communal areas is rectified). Once these issues are sorted the apartment is furnished to a very nice standard."

Great location and excellent breakfast

"The hotel is very conveniently located, within walking distance to the train station, grocery stores and a discount store. Make sure to walk to Rheinfelden, Switzerland, which is a very nice, underrated town. The breakfast at Hotel Danner was among the best of our 3-week European escapade. The staff at the front desk was excellent, especially the young man whose name I wish I remembered. He gave us very good advice about Basel. I definitely want to go back to Hotel Danner."

"This was a top class property. The room and all facilities were modern, clean, and in perfect working order. The location is amazing - a short walk to the lake, a great walk around the lake, and a fantastic castle/museum just down the road. The only issues we had were: There was no Enlish version for the self-check-in process, so there was a bit of guesswork. This made finding our room a matter of checking all the doors with the access card. The email with the room number only arrived sometime AFTER we found the room. The pillows were far too soft - they did not support my head. And the coffee machine in the lobby did not work. However, I would stay there again - Great location and amenities."

"Wonderful Experience at Hotel Tivoli I had a great stay at Hotel Tivoli! A special thank you to the kind lady at reception who stayed up late to accommodate our late check-in—her patience and hospitality were truly appreciated. The breakfast was fantastic with a wide selection, and the staff throughout the hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Their attention to detail and warm service made the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality. "
