"Room was ok, I thought I reserved a full size bed but I found two singles. No big deal though. The carpet in the room was well worn out. Probably good time to replace it. The staff though was great, especially Igor, very nice person and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the parking was tight, very tight. I did not expect a 5 star resort when I booked, so overall 4 stars are appropriate. The best part of all was the location. Fantastic."

"Modern hotel in prime location at the centre of town and close to the harbour. The top floors have balconies overlooking the town and across the Adriatic Sea. Pleadant and very helpful staff snd a bumper breakfast that should not be missed !"

Hotel Istra - Liburnia

"Prachtig hotel met een zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Zeer ruime kamers en een ruime badkamer. Jammergenoeg zit er een bespaarknop op de douchekop.... Doordat het hotel in het mooie centrum van Opataya ligt betaal je wel behoorlijk wat parkeerkosten. Bij de zee kun je 2 bedjes met parasol voor 25€ voor de hele dag huren. Wij kwamen laat in de middag aan. Voor 1,5 uur, liggen de betonnen plateaus ook wel lekker."

"The Continental is an old hotel very well located in Rijeka. It was clean but dated and in need of a refresh. Parking is tough and I wish I had prepared ahead of time for the situation. The breakfast was good, the restaurant seemed updated and the restaurant staff were very nice and professional. If you want a reasonably priced hotel near the Corso then consider the Continental but be ready with parking expectations before arrival."

"Spent a lovely few days at Hotel Amabilis, it's a beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean and all the staff were so hardworking, helpful and friendly. It's in a really nice, relaxed area, with lots of cafes, bars, restaurants and some gift shops just a short walk away. Easy, secure hotel parking for our motorcycles. I would definitely return if I get the opportunity."

"Amazing suite. Perfect location. Extremely helpful bellboys, frontdesk, cleaning and roomservice. Pool is amazing. Too many children for 5* for my kind of holiday. Poolservice was probably a bit under staffed in low season and limited service around pool and beach area. Some younger men were helpful with sun shades, but hard to figure out the system since they were not wearing uniform and you should find them for help. People still place towels and "reserve" sunbeds for all day, eventhough they are not around. It seems to me this will again be a problem in high season. Some sunbeds and shades are broken. Maybe more 5 star conference hotel than 5 star adult couple, without kids, hotel."
