nice hotel, not very far from the centre and very close to the public transportation. Pretty quiet. The worst thing it does not allow you to store the luggage there and you have to go find another place and pay for it. Check-in is pretty late - 4 pm, so you have to go around somewhere before that. We were told to go to the central station and it is not fun going around with 2 suitcases and then take them back when you want to check-in.

There are many public transportation near hotel, easy to access different places. Many supermarkets and 24hrs store nearly. Our room is clean and quiet. Highly recommend.

Overall was okay. Staying on the bottom level could be annoying at night due to noise level of others (singing or tapping walls). Hotel staff was okay, only really spoke when asking for tax payment (which couldn’t be paid by card, and change could not be given for larger amounts of cash). The room itself was cozy and modern.

Nice hotel, but confusing location and check-in.
We really enjoyed the hotel overall, but the check-in was ridiculously complicated. This hotel needs to fix its name listing. There is a Japaning Hotel Omiya, Japning Hotel Central Omiya, and some other Japaning Hotels all in the same area. The two I listed were 2-3 blocks from each other and it was not clear which hotel was the hotel we booked. The buildings and check in process was the same, but the buildings were run by different companies. We accidentally went to the wrong building because our Hotels.com email told us we had booked for "Grand Japaning Hotel Omiya". When we went to the building with this sign, there was no there was a pin passcode and no attendant available during the hours when there were supposed to be attendants. There was a sign saying we should call, and the telephone was missing. There was just a little phone cord in the box where the telephone should have been. I could only imagine what would have happened if I didn't have a functioning phone. Luckily, my phone did work internationally. For a very expensive rate, I spoke to a phone operator for several minutes from the proper hotel. He was able to help me figure things out and I was able to make my way to the proper hotel. All in all, the hotel we stayed in was great and the concept was nice, but we were not impressed with the check-in instructions or building locations.

Fantastic hotel definetly buck for bang. Close to the bus terminal and subway or a short walk to the city center. However you probably won't see a staff member there as it's all self service and check in, but it's extremely easy to use. Would stay again.

Almost unusable WiFi
Was clean and room was decent but not very good for business as the WiFi is so slow it's barely usable. Although you do get a Handy smartphone to use during the stay with unlimited calls.

Cool check in system, hotel atmosphere feels very sterile and synthetic. I think it needs to be broken in, strange smell in the room and elevator like chemicals. Window didn't open more than a crack so was trapped with the synthetic smell u_u

Interesting experience. The check-in process is purely electronic. You enter a code at the building, go in to the front desk and enter a confirmation code on an iPad, which then assigns a room number and a door code to you. Very convenient as you don’t have to carry a key card around and you don’t have to wait to be served by a hotel staff. The only bone in the egg I want to pick is that the room table was a little dusty when we entered. You also have to be prepared to clean up the room and take out your own garbage because there is no room cleaning service during your stay.

2泊しました。受付の人は親切で感じが良かったです。 部屋もコンパクトですが狭すぎないし、ベッド、寝巻き、バスタオルも清潔で、快適に過ごせました。 気になった事は、エアコンをふと見たらフィルターにホコリがびっしり付いててエアコン付けるのを躊躇しました。朝方寒かったので付けましたが、フィルターの汚れが目で確認できる高さに設置してあるので、フィルターの掃除もしてくれると嬉しいです。 あと、トイレットペーパーが異常に少なかったです。2連ついてましたが1ロールが3分の1の量でした。 替えも棚に無かったので、1人で2泊しましたが、足りるのか?と使用する度に少し不安になりました。 それ以外は、とても快適でした。

サービス悪い
4泊させていただきました。 綺麗で、広すぎず狭すぎず 中型のキャリーバッグも余裕で広げられます。 しかし、清掃は3日に1度でタオルが2日分しか置いてなく、一日分足りないので交換して欲しいと言っても濡れたまま使ってくださいと お断りされて交換していただけなかったのが非常に残念でした。 清掃もゴミがすてられてなかったです。 安いので仕方ないですが、サービス面は非常に悪いです。京都には仕事で行くことが多くて ホテル使うことは多いですが ここまでサービス悪いのは初めてです。 私は二度と使いません。

新しくてシンプルで快適
部屋数も少ないホテルですが、新しくきれいで部屋には最低限のアメニティしか置いてありません。旅慣れた人はシンプルに過ごせると思います。 駅から近く、コンビニや飲食店もすぐ近くにあるので便利ですが、町家に囲まれているので静かです。

Hotel sans charme, aucun service (petit déjeuner, bagagerie, réception...), Check in/out sur tablette donc peu pratique et pas humain, attention qu il faut payer en plus les taxes de séjour de Kyoto (200 yen par nuit par personne) en cash uniquement (monnaie ou billet de 1000 yens max) et que ce n'est pas indiqué au préalable par l'hôtel dans ses mails pourtant très nombreux. Nous avions demandé une chambre au calme, nous étions en face de l ascenseur... Sinon chambre correcte, petite mais avec le nécessaire pour un bref séjour. Pas de place pour ranger les valises etc comme souvent au Japon.

因為櫃檯不是24小時也有職員當值,住客要自助CHECK IN & CHECK OUT,大門密碼及房密碼也是用電郵通知住客,第一次入住的人會很迷茫,不過10:00 - 22:00也有職員即場幫忙,問題不太大。房間尺寸不算小,床更是非常大,而浴缸也比一般的商務酒店大,感覺很舒適。酒店離火車站 5-10分鐘,而且酒店外的巴士店有前往京都站的巴士,非常方便,此外附近有便利店,咖啡店,以及多間連鎖食店,居酒屋等等,不用擔心吃飯的問題。絕對是想一次入住的酒店

Malgré le fait d'avoir réservé avec taxe incluse, on nous a demandé une taxe de 200¥/nuit/personne. L'hotel est propre et bien situé, proche des commerces.
