"Very disappointing experience at Nest Hotel Naha. During check-in, the front desk gave me the wrong room number, so I could not enter the room and had to return to the lobby to sort it out. The front desk staff were unable to communicate effectively in English and were not particularly helpful. When I needed to extend my stay for two more nights due to the approaching typhoon, they simply told me to check the rates online myself. When I asked if they could check room availability, they used Google Translate to tell me that if I could not book online, it meant the hotel was full and I should find another hotel. There was little effort to assist or show concern despite the typhoon situation. Also, room cleaning is only provided once every three days, which may not be suitable for all guests. Overall, the service was disappointing and did not meet expectations."

"Room is clean, a little tight for family with 2 large luggage and pram. Location was ok, but require 10 minutes walk to Hakata station, and 3-5 minutes walk to nearby bus stop. Tenjin area is a better choice if you prefer busier and more activities. The shared onsen was a little crowded at night, while afternoon was pretty quiet."

"Great stay! Hotel was close to everything. Walking distance to shopping and food. Taxis were always available. We traveled with 3 kids and the stay was super easy. I’ll definitely go again if I’m in the tenjin area."

"Room was very clean. Room cleaning options are very good. We chose the towel and rubbish exchange, no entry. We like Tokyu Stay because of the washer/dryer in the room; it's very convenient to do laundry at night. Staff was very helpful, especially when we had a problem with the washer. Amenities they offer are very nice. This Tokyu Stay had a water dispenser in the lobby and complimentary juice and coffee in the evening. Location is about a 10 minute walk from Hakata station. It was a bit of a challenge maneuvering the streets with luggage in tow. On the day of departure, we caught a taxi to Fukuoka airport, much easier. Front desk can call a taxi for you. Without luggage, walking to Hakata station to eat or shop is not a problem."
