Hotel Restaurant le Cheval Blanc"We didn’t stay at Le Cheval Blanc as it was closed for holidays, Hotels.com advised of a nearby chambres d’hôtes and we stayed there ‘Au clos de Charny’ which was lovely, our only problem was our room was up two flights of steep stairs. The room was spacious and clean with a large comfortable bed, a very nice shower room with a good shower. The breakfast was superb, a great choice of cheeses and charcuterie, breads, homemade jams, fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. The host is a lovely lady too."

"Room smelt of smoke so our clothes and we ended up smelling of it too. The food bank truck pulled up juet pased our room at 8pm ish and floods of people came out of the upper rooms with bags .... then started to cook in the rooms!!!! With the amount of cobwebs and dirt i do not think the room had been cleaned We added on breakfast at the Campanile where check in/out was and it was nice but they ran out of bread and croissants. "
