New property. Everything is great near perfect. Due to the weather, we did t get the chance to enjoy the pool that much but it looks great though. Full size kitchen is very convenient. Don’t have front desk which is perfectly fine for us, checking in and out is super easy.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The room was amazing. The view of the volcano was stunning. Personal hot tube was private and secluded. Great stay!

This is a great option for staying in the rainforest. The units are brand new, nicely designed and overall fantastic! The immediate location isn’t spectacular but it’s close to the main road and town. I would stay again.

Bauma - an excellent boutique hotel in La Fortuna

What a fantastic hotel. Truly enjoyed our stay at Bauma. The grounds and incredibly well maintained and the hotel is clean and beautifully constructed and maintained. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They were super responsive via WhatsApp from the moment we booked throughout our stay. The location is super convenient and safe!!

This place was amazing! Our Villa literally had everything we needed including a washer/dryer! My kids enjoyed the pool. The virtual concierge was great in booking all our activities from zip- lining and white water rafting. We didn’t need to worry about anything. We used Uber to get into town which wasn’t expensive. If we return to La Fortuna only staying at BAUMA!

The private hot tub was the highlight. Clean, heated, accessible. Beautiful shower, comfortable room. Convenient location. A bit off the main drag, which was a big plus but would be a negative if we didn't have a rental car. Highly recommended.

Outstanding!

Beautiful facilities, relaxing atmosphere, modern decor, comfortable beds, and great location. This was much nicer than even the most expensive hotels we have stayed in. You get a feeling of privacy, which you never have in a hotel.

Absolutely beautiful and modern place with lush grounds and your own private hot tub! ! They had all the amenities you needed in each unit. Very friendly and responsive staff! Pricy but worth it for a few days of luxury!
