First Dormy stay. Cool concept/group. Great staff. Extensive Japanese breakfast. Guest laundry colocated with onsen area. Unlike most of Japan, neighborhood is actually fairly dirty with lots of street trash. That said, great restaurants, shopping of all kinds all around the hotel; and, location is superb for accessing transit throughout the city as well as for day trips via Ueno station, and, access to Ueno Park for green space and museums.

Tidy and reasonable choice

Location is good. The room is small but is tidy and in good condition. They provide room services free of charge once a week, which is less than expected, but not a problem to us in fact. Although we didn’t fully tried that, it seems that they offer free snack for spa and evening simple noodles. Do check with them for details, if you are interested.
