"Arrived to a note on the door to call for entry code. Told to pick up key from board and let myself in. No welcome at all. Bathroom small and clean, bedroom just enough space for virtually the bed. Minimal hanging space, 1 hook on some misplaced bookshelf. The interior is drab and grey, badly needs updating. My departure was also faceless. Nobody on reception at most times"

"Friendly and helpful check in staff. Nice ground floor room which was good as we have a dog Nice looking building with a car park. Grass area around the hotel car park needs tidying up. Did not use the bar or restaurant, but looked very nice"

"Many things are very good. The location is near the river at Port d’Envaux Communication in English is a little difficult. We ended up with a large saucepan of hot milk to make our morning tea!"

"We had a wonderful stay. Pierre and Eric are incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect and give us the best stay and are genuinely two of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet (together with their lovely dog Pepsi) Their home is beautiful and spotless with a lovely garden. We were treated to the most incredible breakfast each morning with homemade jams, fruit, and speciality breads. Nothing was too much trouble and we were...

"Cet hôtel n'est pas très cher, donc je m'attendais à une qualité assez médiocre : je n'ai pas été déçu. Tous les communs sentent fort le tabac car le gérant fume dans l'établissement, fort heureusement ça ne sent pas dans la chambre. J'aurais apprécié de prendre mon petit déjeuner tranquille, au lieu de cela j'ai dû subir le discours réac et complotiste du tenancier. Plus jamais !"

"Un cocon de douceur dans cette maison plein de charme, à la décoration raffinée, belle, et choisie avec soin et beaucoup de goût! On se croirait dans un magazine de décoration… La literie et des draps en gaze de coton rajoutent encore de la douceur, comme les produits de la salle de bain bios et à l’odeur douce (encore de la douceur!)"
