"Well run hotel with excellent restaurants. Parking is convenient. Lots of extra fees is a negative, like $172 for my dog, $55 self parking and $60 resort fee (not part of basic amenities?). With so little competition nearby why not charge straight up?"

We chose a less expensive room, however, due to a mix-up, we were provided with a wonderfully large room overlooking the ocean. I was impressed with the kindness shown by the staff and the amenities provided. "

"This hotel is all about location! We booked a coastline view and were in room 232. We were literally steps from the sand and we could watch the waves and the paragliders at torrey pines from our balcony. Carng service, a short walk to the shops and restaurants, and a short uber ride to the village or the gliderport. The hotel is a bit dated, but it's comfortable, convenient and the proximity and view of the beach are excellent. I would not hesitate to stay here again. "

"The room was very noisy, lots of trafffic through the outside access door, slammed all through the night and woke up our kids. The room was clean, however missing bathroom fan ventilation made the room humid as we were getting ready Enjoyed the pool and hot tub, gardens very well maintained."

You can just step out your door and walk to amazing shops, restaurants, and see beautiful views of the ocean and all the seals and sea lions. The hotel itself was very nice too! This is the place to stay if you are visiting La Jolla!!!"
