"Breakfast buffet was generous & varied. Plenty of different types of fruit, cereals, hot food, & pastries. Even had a wholemeal seeded croissant! Scrambled eggs were best I’ve had from a buffet - ie not dry & hard like cheese. Staff friendly & helpful always. Rooms were decent & well equipped for cooking if wanted/needed. Only minor quibbles - Dead cockroaches should have been removed by staff. Iinstead left in communal hallways for days. I’d also like to have seen hand soap provided for the bathroom. I asked & the policy is you have to reach into use the shower dispenser instead. "

"Room was clean and tidy hosts were lovely little bit run down and the pool wasnt heated but perfect for what i needed. Hosts also seen us coming back one afternokn and bought us a glass of wine each and a bowl of crisps "

"Mattresses were worn right down (compacted down to the springs). Futon used as a sofa was SO uncomfortable. Like sitting on marble. Inadequate kitchen items. Please try giving guests a heads-up as to when housekeeping staff will come in!! Desk staff, bar staff, maintenance staff were fabulous!!"
