"My family and I stayed in the "Coral" apartment. It is on the first floor located right along the waterfront. I loved being able to listen to the waves while falling asleep. The hammocks are also mere steps from the apartment's door.
Some negatives:
The community's designated smoking area is right beside the only bedroom in the apartment.
We did find some parking inconveniences toward the end of our stay when there were too many cars inside the gated area for the number of spaces, so we had to temporarily double park.
The shower is very temperamental. The temperature changed constantly and would be lukewarm to boiling hot with no notice.
The pigeons are persistant buggers! Their cooing is loud under the metal canopy roof and seemed to start earlier and earlier each day.
Overall, it was great for the price. There was adequate space for 4 people ( two teens, two adults.) We were able to save money by getting food from Sam's Club, which is less than 5 minutes away."
"This place has no security personnel, no personnel to help with the luggage (most basic hotel characteristic), no elevator (broken forever and when you arrive on the first day, they will say that it will be fixed the next day), no phone in the rooms to contact front desk. If you go early in the morning to the front desk, you will see two things; a paper with a phone # to call if you need something and a can to drop your key for check out. The mattresses are uneven. The door locks used to be electronics, but they are using the emergency keys (it seems that they don’t know how to service the hotel). The cleaning lady one day can do your room, another day will do half of the room and leave, others will flip your door sing from please clean the room to do not disturb. We spent four days without hot water, some people said that was because they ran out of propane and others that it was under service. The shower is awful and the only thing that they will say is that is the oldest hotel on the island (lies). If after all this you decide to book here, you deserve to waste your money."
"We arrived pretty late in the night and it was very confusing to check in. I think the staff needs to add check-in instructions (specifically for late arrivals). Everything was super clean. The shower never got warm in ours so it was a little painful."
"I'm glad I found this hotel, it was half an hour from my family. Stayed 1 night Sunday to Monday. Arrived at 5ish parked outside (I was a little worried, but nothing happened to the rental) quick check in, asked for an extra pillow and checked out the pool quick.. so the lady thought I was downstairs when She went to the room to give us the pillow at the room she didn't knock and scared us 😅 we changed and used the pool it's small but we enjoyed it.... Its missing some tiles so be careful with fingers. We then went to the restaurant downstairs The Food was quick to arrive and delicious HOWEVER, we felt ignored 🙁 after the food arrived the waiter Never came back. And waited a long time for someone to finally come to me and give me the check and a plate to go.
We went back to the room, bed, pillows were comfy, temperature stayed at 70 you cannot adjust but that was perfect for us, after 10pm we didn't hear no more Loud music from bars or cars, we would stay again."
