Basic but perfect for a couple of nights. Great location, lovely breakfast and super helpful staff. They also let us keep luggage there so we could explore La Rochelle before travelling on. Would definitely stay again

Wonderful location and surprisingly quiet for being in such a central part of the city.There is no elevator so ask for a lower floor if you have bigger luggage.

One night in La Rochelle.

We enjoyed the hotel; the staff were friendly and had a pleasant attitude. The room was clean, comfortable and we appreciated the tasteful and saucy decorations. The slight downside was having to carry our bags up and down 2 flights of stairs! Overall though we really like the hotel and the location is excellent.

Fascinating hotel.😍

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Excellent position for seeing La Rochelle. Interesting area good choice of eateries in area. Provision of ear plugs needed for some especially on a Saturday night. Downside is the taxi system deplored in the area La Rochelle but hotel managed to book one for us. Xx

Great boutique hotel

This is a great little boutique hotel. The staff was wonderful - very helpful in advising us in what we should see around town. The location was great, an easy walk to just about everything. No elevator, so if you can't handle stairs it might be a problem.

This is a quirky (in the good sense) small hotel. In my experience of more than 40 years of travel, this is the most beautiful and most functional small hotel I have encountered. It is beautifully decorated... A good place to stay.

The room was small (a couple would have to negotiate who goes where when in moving about the room) but it was lovely and worked very well for me as a single traveller. I loved the art which really sweetened my visit to La Rochelle.

A great find!

Beautiful quirky little hotel, imaginative design, well organised room space. Comfortable bed, good breakfast and very friendly service. Only the shower was a bit awkward to use.

Chambre petite mais tout à fait fonctionnelle, trèspropre. Décoration originale et ludique . Literie très confortable, salle de bain bien équipée. Personnel accueillant et agréable. Petit dejeuner de produits frais et sains , beaucoup de choix, même un oeuf à la coque si on le désire. Absolument rien à redire.

Très bon accueil dès notre arrivée, le personnel est sympathique et attentionné. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent, varié et copieux, avec des produits de qualité. La chambre est correcte et confortable, et la décoration de l’hôtel est atypique, ce qui lui donne beaucoup de charme. Petit bémol : l’insonorisation pourrait être améliorée, on entend parfois les bruits du couloir ou de la rue. Dans l’ensemble, un très bon séjour, je recommande cet établissement !

Arrivés à 10h30, avons eu accès à une chambre avec balcon. Accueil chaleureux avec Zéna. Très bien situé, près de la gare, le quai, les restaurants (face à l’Hôtel restaurant excellent). Très bruyant la nuit, même fenêtre fermée. Le gros bémol, l’odeur dans la salle de bain et une douche avec beaucoup de moisissure, même sur les côtés extérieurs. Avons souligné ces inconvénients aux propriétaires qui nous ont assuré que les futures rénovations, une fois la saison terminée, régleraient ce problème.

L’albergo é in centro città, molto pulito, colazione abbondante, personale MOLTO gentile, sempre disponible a soddisfare qualsiasi richiesta e neccessitá di informazioni. Ambiente familiäre: mi sono sentita a casa! Pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione. Grazie a tutti!
