"Had an excellent one night stay. Nice view of ocean and Catalina Island. Frank is a very good host and always attentive. Nice clean room with everything you need for your comfort. We enjoyed every minute of our stay with great conversations of life experiences with Frank. Would definitely stay again and enjoy a good wine next time.

"Best hotel in La Romana! VERY SAFE inside hotel for a solo female traveler. Great owners. Very clean, amazing housekeeper. Brand new tiles in bathroom, beautiful! Well-equipped room with table, luggage rack, phone charger,TV, excellent wifi, ac, hot water. Excellent service! On a main street, ate delicious shrimp at a restaurant next door, small grocery only a few blocks away, accessible by public transit, aka la gua gua"

"There is no front desk/reception. This wasn't a problem, but you'll need to call or WhatsApp in advance to get the key code for your room entry. No big deal. Good location, good sized room, strong air conditioning. Very little soundproofing between rooms, so you'll be reliant on the other guests being polite and respectful. Low water pressure. Overall not perfect but fine for the price!"
