Friendly staff and a good location near local markets and restaurants. Gem of a local breakfast (Carmelitas) and dinner (Papa Loca) within a 5 minute walk, or just eat in the hotel . Also an easy 15 minute walk to the beach.

Good beds, bathrooms were ok (but please change the toilet seat in room 5), pool was nice and clean, but could use some seating. Good restaurants in very short walking distance. Good value."

"Although it is an older property, the first hotel to open in the area from what we are told, it was very clean and comfortable. Yes there are a lot of stairs but it wasnt so bad and you get used to it after a couple days. There are many trees and plants along the walkways and to the paths to the pool and beach. It has scenic views and the staff is very friendly and also helpful. We asked the beat and cheapest way to get into town and they offered us good recommendations. We would definitely come back here again and refer friends as well. Thank you Catalina Beach Resort!"
"The place was a little difficult for cab driver from the airport to find, but once we arrived everything was perfect! It was very conveniently located, had all of the amenities to cook and hangout at the villa, beautiful views, and it was extremely clean.
