"I strongly recommend avoiding Hotel Chrome Montréal. This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve experienced. Our floor felt like a construction site—drywall work in the hallway, equipment running, drywall dust on the floor, flickering hallway lights, and a strong wet, soggy smell. We were also woken up early by loud construction noise coming from the hallway. During a rainy day there was water leaking from the ceiling, and the hotel’s solution was simply placing a large trash can in the hallway to catch the water. The room itself was poorly maintained: broken furniture, lights that didn’t work, a disconnected room phone, a very noisy wall AC/heater unit, and an outdated TV with only basic channels. The shower also had visible mold. Housekeeping didn’t make the bed, empty trash, or refresh towels until the fourth day of our stay. When we raised concerns, the front desk staff seemed irritated rather than apologetic and were reluctant to help when we asked about changing rooms. Overall, the property felt neglected and poorly managed. Montreal has many hotels, choose another one."

"Amazing pool! This is the social hub and central feature of this hotel. Accross the street at the VIA train station you will find lots of quick eats to grab. Better restaurants can be found just to the east. I love staying here! "

"Loved this hotel. Room was small but had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Everything worked. Plenty of glasses, mug, even hot water kettle which was great. Bed was comfortable. TV had lots of options. Staff was incredible. More like a 5 star. "

"No internet connection in the room during the stay and no helpful solution was provided. Poor quality of iron. Room access card was always deactivated. No body lotion. Microwave was malfunctioning and no replacement proposal was made, instead host was suggesting to plug and unplug each time it got stuck"
