"Very friendly and helpful owners, check in etc happens remotely. Spotlessly clean and tidy small hotel in the train station building. Passing trains are obviously loud, but there were none between ca 2300-0700, so it didn't bother us at all, in fact it was fun to watch them pass! A short walk into the town centre with shops, restaurants and café. Free parking much appreciated too."

"The hotel is away from the city but is cheap and comfortable. The room was a little tired but otherwise the stay was good. For the price you cannot go far wrong, particularly with en suite facilities."

Summertime can be a little loud at nights with street singing at nts nearby, but adds to experience. This summer (2025) was very hot and no air conditioner but wonderful staff provided a grrat fan!
