"Nice room and quiet stay, just far enough out of the main town to feel far away. The lake view is beautiful, I wish we would have got a lake view room. The restaurant Oak and Oar was nice too, could have used a few more selections on the menu. The HVAC system is my only complaint, was quite loud and on either full blast or off."

"This was a last minute get out of Chicago trip to Lake Geneva. Lots of great history and character. Never seen more people stop to take pictures of a hotel. There are only 6 rooms here so it is quite unique. It is truly like stepping back into history. The speakeasy bar is a fun experience. Hotel is walking distance from everything downtown. The property manager Cortney was welcoming and very helpful and lives on-site so very responsive. This is not a modern antiseptically clean, charmless hotel. It has personality and character so don't be too judgmental."
