never stayed went to check in and no one was in the office to check me in was there around 30 minutes then left went down the street to another hotel tried calling them and still no answer i ended up staying at another place someone finally called me back 4 hours later to see if i were still booking told them the situation and they apologized saying that they ran to a store

The stay was ok but they charged me an extra 388.00 for the stay with out telling me. They took ot right off my card the day we left. So i over paid . Ill never go there again.

This place was awful! The floors in the room were just plywood screwed into the floor rafters. The sofa in the room looked dirty, the bathroom doors were filthy and the towels were thin! I would NEVER stay here again. They need to clean up this place!

Cabin was somewhat clean. No tub just shower the water ran out of it all over the floor. Curtain in bathroom was sheer and window was ground level. Property was covered in garbage and cigarette butts. Office area was unkept, and very disorganized. Pool was filthy my husband had to clean it to be able to swim in it.

This property is prime location. 5 minutes to downtown lake george, 1 minute to outlets, 5 minutes to great escape. Everything was excellent. The only negative if I had to say there was one is the property itself needed a little love- other then that all good! I would stay again!!!!

Our stay was not good. The hotel charged $50 ($100) per day for our Service dog (totally unfair) and that charge was not specified in the hotel information at Hotels.com. On the other hand, the towels were terrible: very thin, rough, and one of them not clean. The Motel complex was run down and uncared. I'm not recommend this Motel at all.

My room wreaked of smoke. There’s an cigarette butt thing outside my room so when you come up the stairs that smell punches you in the face. But other than the heavy smoke smell the room wa good

The hotel was fine but the room was on the first floor and the second floor and they had a big family with kids that were so loud all night long. We had to cut out trip short since we were not getting any rest with the noise. Very unfortunate

Big wasp on the bed at check in, another wasp under the toilet seat. Several dead bugs on the bathroom walls. Spiders here and there (but it’s the ADKs so whatever). Bathroom mirror was real grimy. No fan in the bathroom and the shower just dumps water right onto the floor. No screen in bathroom window so can’t open without bugs. Sheets scratchy but clean. Mattress underneath stained but no bed bugs. A/C worked well. Interior wood paneling in good condition. A solid crappy motel that was a little under-cleaned but served it’s purpose as a place to sleep.

The King Hendrick Motel is a quiet, small place to stay in the Lake George area. The cabin we stayed in was well maintained, clean and up to date. The staff at check-in were very friendly. Check out was a breeze. I would definitely stay here again!

I like the separate cabin concept and it was clean. That’s all I liked. Only a bed in the room, no other furniture. No coffee maker. No pool open. No curtains so the outside light was shining in all night and kept us awake. Absolutely nothing to do there. When booking, you are under the impression you get your own cabin but that is not the fact. We were bundled with a whole bunch of connecting rooms at first and they charged us $45 extra to have our own cabin which turned out to be a very negative experience.

Quality Stay
I was expecting worse based on the reviews, but the room was clean and comfortable; I quite liked it. Not a lot of frills, but we didn't need them. I really liked the cabin-like feel of the rooms, even those in the main building. The only issue was that when I rolled to the edge of the bed, the frame made a loud sound, which disturbed my son and me during sleep.

Cabin was clean complaint was did not sleep for the few days we were there the outside porch lights did not shut off so they came through the window so no sleep and was no way to block them out and we ask for towels for the next night and did not recieve them

The cabin was much smaller than expected. It was super cute and cozy. Bring your own pillow! There were 2 pillows of different sizes. The bed was not very comfortable and the shower was tiny. Ladies shave your legs before you go. However, I would stay again. It was clean and overall a great place to stay. Close to everything.

The people who own this place are rude and they charged an incredibly high rate for a pet the owner hit my car with his hand and then insulted myself in my dog the air conditioner does not work it blows out warm air there was no parking for my vehicle by my cabin while there was for others

WARNING Horrible experience.
WARNING- not family friendly. Trashy people living in cabins drinking beers outside. Should have read other comments before booking. Motel ran a party with live DJ blasting music all night until 3am got no sleep. We got no warning. Stay away from this place.

Quaint and clean
Love the quaint little cabins, very nice! The a/c worked well, the shower head was fantastic, and everything was very clean. The bed was super hard, which some people don’t mind, we aren’t used to it, but it’s new, so no worry about bed bugs. The only disappointment was that the pool wasn’t open, the guy said he didn’t have enough help to open it. This was not a great look, hopefully next time we won’t have that issue. We would also like to say the porch is a great touch, but the driveway needs work.
