  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

Pool was great, room clean but mildly musty smell when we first entered room. Staff rarely was at the front desk. In add I read there was supposed to be a hot tub but reception said there has not been one for several years.

I’ve stayed here a few times and every time it has been amazing. I do recommend this place for the Lake George area! It’s very close to all the shops and the pool area is amazing!

The property was nice with a great pool and a swing set. Each room has a balcony and cleaned daily. The bed was very firm and rooms could use a deep clean to get the dust behind the chair and stands. It’s right next door to the magic forest kids amusement park which we enjoyed. Overall it was a good place to stay.

Lyn Aire was an amazing place. Rooms were spacious and clean. Will definitely stay again! Highly recommend! Close to town, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Nice pool, huge yard so my 1yr old grandson could run around and nice play ground.
