Cute little room

The staff was friendly. The room was a bit outdated but very clean! I love the refridgerator, microwave, and coffee maker in the room, that was nice!

Is it pricey for a motel. Yes. But for Tahoe it’s a good choice. I’ve stayed here multiple times and am never disappointed. When I can walk a block and avoid the ridiculous resort fees of the casinos and now their paid parking, I will stay her anytime

This is a nice clean simple room, close to the beach and Stateline activities. The bed was comfortable enough and the little refrigerator was very convenient for groceries. The pool was open and clean. I was able to park right in front of my room. The only improvement would be to add a small couch or lounge chair since there's no comfortable place to sit in the room. I also cracked me knee on the sharp hidden edge of that metal bed about 10 times... (laugh) ... my fault. I would stay here again, and I would recommend this place to others.

House shoes needed

Second time staying here. 2012 was first outdated rooms. July 2022 newly Renovated rooms are very nice. Platform beds and nice pillows. Laminate flooring is nice but NOT clean. Our feet were black and had to wash. Two days of wearing shoes while in room 😒. Pool area was very nice clean and updated since last time as well. Would stay here again just pack my house shoes next time. Easy walk to have pizza, coffee and mexican on each side of hotel.

What I liked about this property was that it was very close to Harvey's. The refrigerator had a nice size freezer. What I didn't like about this property...carpet in room filthy and left black marks on the bottom of your foot, one of the nightstand lights did not work, tile not completed in bathroom along baseboard, room had a smell, air conditioner very loud, bathroom sink had lots of cracks in the bowl, outlet in bathroom looked a bit scary - loose on wall and you had to hold it to plug and unplug the blow dryer. Overpriced for a two night stay totaling $425 with the outdated condition of the rooms. It was a busy summer weekend, not much near Harvey's available so we went with what was the most affordable.

Around midnight power went out from what I assume is because of the snow storm. It was about 20 degrees outside and I had no heat all night long or lights. It was freezing. When I approached hotel staff about it they told me it happened to a few hotels on the block. Hotel should have a generator for this types of weather conditions as this is a very regular occurrence in this town. Also they provided no help in the morning when it came to plowing the parking lot. They went over the same spot for hours and when I asked them if they could come plow over by me so I could leave the hotel as I’ve already checked out they told me “when they had a minute”. Well I ended up having to dig myself out

One star is all I could muster for this place.

I normally dont give bad reviews, but to save someone else from the disappointment of staying here,well I just had to give an honest review of this place. Pros: With in walking distance to the main casinos and Lakeside beach. Cons: Room 112, Thin walls where you can hear everything said in the next room as if they were in your room. Literally! Hard,uncomfortable bed. Like a rock! I had to turn on heater and it burned my throat from the smell ,so I had to open windows just to breathe. Horrible continental breakfast consisting of old fruit ,cheap cereal, tang and gross pastry. Older property with cracked fixtures in my room. Dirty pool. Only one night and that was enough. Spend the extra money for a nicer updated place to stay. Front desk was nice to me, that was a plus amid all the minuses.

Threatened by management

Such an unfortunate experience. The owner double charged me (seemed to be on purpose) then locked me out of the office when I went to go ask if he could refund the one half. He ignored my calls for 3 weeks until I finally had to file a dispute on my credit card. He left me a voicemail today threatening me because I filed a dispute. His threats will be taken seriously and have already been sent to local police, Hotels.com, and American Express so he can’t be a merchant with them for much longer. His threatening voicemail will be posted on yelp and anywhere else that it can be posted to save others from this scam. Also the hotel was very dirty upon arrival.

They were just changing ownership so the place was a but of a mess. The staff was very nice and friendly, but I'm glad I got there early to check in because it took over an hour for them to find my reservation through expedia, and to send me a new link and have me pay via another link.

Went to an event at Harvey’s and opted to stay here because that night a room at Harvey’s was 300. I was very surprised how nice the rooms were for the price. I would definitely stay here again. Everything was updated except the fan/ac unit. When turned on it sounded like there was a motorcycle in the room with us. So we just slept without it and opened the window. It was cool at night. So no big deal. Definitely recommend, it’s very close to the whole strip and there’s a little Mexican restaurant next to it. Very convenient!

Hotel was walking distance to the casinos. Tiny pool, NO HOT TUB. Room was small but cozy. Clean. Heater worked great. Tiny shower, no tub. No counter space in bathroom. Had everything else needed.. refrigerator, microwave, TV, iron & board. Desk with rolling chair. Check in was quick & easy, friendly. No one at front desk several times when needed. Have a beach voucher, was not told by hotel. Would have saved us $50! Overall, was a good stay. My son loved the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Close to casinos, food and shopping. Easy/fast check-in. Parking for small/normal sized vehicles. If you drive a large suv or truck you’ll be parking elsewhere. Some self entitled person found this out after parking a 4x4 camper van that blocked everyone else in the lot. The van was towed away….

I checked into the hotel and the pictures aren’t an accurate representation of what you’re getting. We were planning on staying there for two nights but after walking in I immediately went back to the office to request a refund. The lady working there said we couldn’t get a refund for the first day, but she would refund us for the second night after checkout the morning after. It’s been two weeks and still no refund. The experience we had while staying there wasn’t great either. The bed is hard as a rock, pillows are really thin, and the bathroom wasn’t great either. Attached are pictures of my girlfriend being funny showing how much space is between the floor and door. You can hear everything in there 🙃
