"Check-in was quick and easy, and room was bigger than expected, clean, comfortable, with plenty of room to store / lock things; a side-door to an outside terrace with a table and chairs, and a great shower with plenty of pressure and warm water. Bed was cozy, and smart TV was new and viewing choices were abundant in several languages. The restaurant was usually busy, but they always found a table quickly for me (would recommend making reservations though). Service from the restaurant staff was excellent - friendly, attentive, quick, and helpful. Elvira was so helpful and friendly - as was most of the staff. I had dinner there all three nights, and was never disappointed. The soups, appetizers - and, in particular, the pizzas, were delicious - which was perfect after a day of exhausting skiing. Lastly, the location of the Matterhorn Inn couldn't be better. They are located less than 1 minute (right across the street) from the Täsch rail station. Will definitely return!"

"I loved this hotel! It's beautiful, the people were very nice, and the rooms were lovely and clean. The bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was amazing and the view was even better. We also had dinner at the hotel since we couldn't find anywhere else to eat because there were no reservations available, which was fine with us because the food in the restaurant was great! my mom had the salad and the kraut salat tasted just how my oma made it so definitely has my seal of approval. The common room with the fireplace was so cozy. When I was there the embers were dying and I asked one of the ladies to put another log on. She said that the soapstone fireplace would get too hot so she said no which was fine but as I was sitting in front of the embers one of the men who worked there put in another log and the same lady walked in. I think she thought I asked the guy to put another log in after she told me no but I didn't! So if she reads this I swear I didn't pull a "mom said no so I'll ask dad." Nevertheless I can't wait to stay in Hotel Edelweiss again!"
