"Property was dirty. Staff was unbelievably rude. Location is good - but there are 25 other hotels within a block or two, so no reason to stay at this location. The whole place was gloomy, almost creepy. Avoid. Pick another place. "

"Externally looks great but interior fittings are poor for this old building. Wifi is poor and kept cutting off for no apparent reason. Bathtub was dirty as appeared never been cleaned. TV reception is poor on a small tiny 24 inch size screen. Breakfast has improved with some variations but presence of houseflies appeared unhygienic. Housekeeping staff are erratic and sometimes did not even change bath towel or replace items used. Only a few odd wardrobe hangers per room. Disposable sandals are a joke. Valid for very short stays "

"If you want to read, you must do so during daylight hours. The room is too dark and the lights are minimal. There is no breakfast included as they have no buffet nor restaurant. No pool. But was glad our room had a couch and the queen bed had 4 pillows."
