"House is clean and tidy. The kitchen has everything we need. Water pressure and temperature in all bathroom are perfect. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The heater in ground floor got very loud noise after few hours central heating been turn on. Need to turn up the heating,(e.g. from 0 to 2, from 2 to 3)to stop the noise. "Lovely location, away from the main bowness hussle. Lovely room with a lake view. Super big room (room. 7) with HUGE bathroom. Building works did not bother us at all. We did notice that the heating was not on permanently. This did cause the room to become very cold during early evening and during the night. Some fairly obvious cobwebs in the ceiling corners and the main light. Breakfast was good although I would welcome some less sugary options. Dressing gowns were provided for the spa but they were about size xs so not exactly coveting normal adult body so bring your own!!"

"On check in, we had to vacate our room due to plumbing issues along the whole corridor. We had to wait another hour before our new room was ready, which was fine as it was out of their control to a degree. Our only complaint was that we had to ask for a complimentary drink or similar whilst we were waiting.....they should've offered that immediately, guests shouldn't have to ask, it's the least they can do! Other than that it was a pleasant stay."

"Beautiful hotel, but the leisure facilities were disappointing The Grange is a beautifully decorated hotel with a lovely atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the carvery, which was absolutely delicious and a real highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, our experience was somewhat spoiled by a large coach party staying at the hotel. The behaviour of some of the children was particularly poor, especially around the swimming pool, which made it difficult to enjoy what should have been a relaxing experience. The pool changing rooms were also rather cramped and could benefit from more space. Overall, there is a great deal to like about this hotel, particularly its attractive interiors and excellent food. However, better supervision of the pool area and improvements to the changing facilities would make a significant difference to the guest experience."

"We stayed in a family room which was brilliant. The kids had a separate sleeping area and separate beds which was great! Nice spacious room for the four of us. Everything needs updating but i overheard that this property is being updated soon. Unfortunately the water was turned off on our last morning. Reception warned us the night before which we were grateful for and we were provided with plenty of bottled water in the morning and an apology from reception which i was grateful for. We found this hotel a great base for visiting the lakes and overall really enjoyed our stay!"

"Warm welcome and amazing, helpful staff team. Lovely clean rooms and great water pressure. Buffet style cooked breakfast was only thing that was not 100% ... one day it was all pretty dried under the lights, although the next stay it was much busier and breakfast was fresher as turnaround of stock was faster. We ate one night in the restaurant and the food was good but a little pricy, although expected for a hotel restaurant. We would definitely stay again if in the area."
