Stayed here a few times in the past enjoyed it in 2023. Now Rude employees, pool area closes to early, rude bartenders, rooms should have at least a small refrigerator, had to ask for room to be cleaned. The positive was the restaurant food was good. Had to wait to be seated for 10 minutes and the restaurant was empty.

After we arrived at the property i could not use the self check kiosk because it could not find my reservation so we go to the counter the staff member informs me the room i booked was unavailable (i just over heard her tell the guest before us the same thing) and it was there error so she would upgrade us at no cost and that we would "be very happy with this room" by the way we booked a room with a jetted tub due to my bad back we finally get to the room and it was not even close to making us happy i go to the bathroom to use the toilet the lid was closed i open it and at least 10 fruit flies flew out of it and there are many more dead in the toilet at this point its no big deal i flush it the room was nothing special anyways i go to turn the shower on to freshen up the shower will not come on just slow drip at this point im so mad i call the front desk and explained that the shower was not working to the manager she just says come back down we will change your room great we go back down stairs bags in tow wait in a 5 person line of unhappy guest that did not have the room they booked get to the counter and the manager takes us i hand her the key and she goes what are you doing checking out? I said no our shower in our room is not working she replied not with a sorry but with a maam you dont need to be loud with me i didnt know what you came down here for so i told her we just need a room with a working shower so i can freshen up they give us another room very bad service

Front desk was excellent. Helpful and friendly, on point. Pool staff not so good. I wanted to charge my drinks to my room since I had beverage credits. I was told that I needed to pay cash because I the "computer " said that I checked out which was a big fat lie. That was upsetting. It was a quiet weekday and she probably wanted cash and cash tips. I get that, just say that though. Otherwise it was very clean. My room was great and the location was good.

Celebrated my birthday had a wonderful stay and the manger on duty during my stay was excellent she was very accommodating and made sure I had an amazing experience. Hats off to the valet parking also in and out with no problem.

I was pleasantly surprised by this property! Based on prior reviews I had some major concerns, non of which manifested. The hotel was clean, smelled great, had a small but adequate casino, nice bars, an okay pool area (could use more plants) very nice staff and surprisingly good food! The rooms were decent but lacked extras like a shower cap, q-tips, fridge, not enough towels. We were also not able to reach front desk in the middle of the night, no one answered. Over all we had a great stay!

The hotel was very nice and clean and there are good eating and drinking options. The pool area and the casino are very nice as well. The TV in our room did not work and we reported it to the front desk twice. It was not fixed during our stay. The hotel is close to Fremont Street but you should be cautious about walking in the area after dark.

As a first timer to “old Vegas” I personally would not do it again. Fees for everything, limited dinning, shopping, and sightseeing. But if it’s your first time. Then go. Freemont will definitely give you an idea of what the strip is all about!

We love the location and proximity to downtown. The Casino and Lobby are well maintained, but the rooms, gym, pool, and parking garage situation are in poor condition and not maintained to excellent standards. Consider replacing the poolside furniture every *10 * years or so!....that could help. The fixtures throughout the hotel property and rooms need to be updated, replaced and maintained. The parking garage needs a powerwash from the piles of *crap* that have accumulated for decades in the stairwells. There is so much potential with this *resort*. Step it up!!!!!

The hotel was very nice, the employees were very helpful, free parking was a great upgrade and we enjoyed our stay at the Downtown Grand. The biggest drawback was the noise! If you choose this hotel know that you are staying extremely close to the Freemont Experience and it is very loud at night in your room. There is a biker bar very close as well, so ask the front desk people for complimentary ear plugs or bring your own. One last thing, if you are a hiker then you can walk to the LV Strip, but know that it is several miles and will take a while. We walked it once then rented a car! Driving distance to the Grand Canyon is very doable, recommended, and awesome! Enjoy!

We had a room facing the street, did not sleep at all due club music from outside. At 3 AM I had to go through the casino in my PJs to the front desk to ask when the music would stop. They anticipated the music ending at 4 am. They asked if I wanted ear plugs…like all it would take is ear plugs to drown out the heavy base. I had to get my 72 year old mother up to change rooms at 3am. There was no apologies from the staff or reasons why they put us in such awful room. I paid for a premium room. All the manager said was we should have known downtown was “lively.”
