Great stay, wonderful breakfast, comfy bed, and convenient location. I was only there 1 night but I’ll happily stay again when goi g to Latacunga. Friendly staff, as well.
Great hotel in a town with not many options. This was our second stay and the room (at the front of the hotel) was so much better. Spacious and updated.

Amazing staff, small room
Hotel staff were wonderfully helpful, although the room was a little small and needed updating (note the room on our second visit was much, much better!)
This was a very clean and safe place to stay in Latacunga, right before embarking on the Quilotoa Loop Trek. Breakfast has a lot of options and is self-serve. They will also make you eggs, fried or scrambled (your choice)! The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were nice. They supplied shampoo and soap. The best part about this hotel is how secure it is. We were able to leave luggage in their large safe while we were on the hike at no extra cost.
This hotel is a beautiful gem in the city. You have walking access to restaurants there like el gringo y la gorda a couple of blocks away and el Rey on the corner. The owner took us on a personal tour and explained the history of this beautiful hotel. Very friendly. The staff is extremely helpful. We stayed on the third floor which is on the fourth since they do not count the lobby floor. This is good to know as they have no elevator. It is extremely clean and feels relatively new. Since the owner lives right on the property, he has a personal interest on the upkeep of the property. One thing we noticed is that there is no temperature control in the room on the third floor but if it is too cool for you, you can rent a heater for $5. Great location for Cotopaxi and Laguna Quilotoa.
We stayed here before and after our few days by bus/on foot in the Quilotoa circuit. Only two or three blocks from main plaza in Latacunga so well-located for seeing the town and eateries. Reception staff very helpful in advising on Quilooa options. Left surplus luggage here. Room on top floor at front and back fine. Breakfasts OK..
We were very disappointed with the deceptive reservation system. the advertised price was $50.00 NIGHTLY PRICE PER ROOM and SLEEPS 2. This would imply the cost for two but this is not the case. When paying for our room we were charged for an additional person to the tune of $75.00. We also feel Expedia should not allow this type of misleading behavior.
The room was quite good, silent, very clean with a comfortable bed; toilet was provided with everything you need of. The owner, don Enrique took us for a city tour as soon as we arrived, informing us about city major attractions and events. We couldn't have had a better staying.
El personal es muy amable, nos dieron orientaciones acerca de lugares a recorrer y nos ayudaron a cargar las maletas por las escaleras. La habitación estaba en buen estado y la limpieza también. Fue muy útil que el hotel tuviera parking cerrado.
