"Our hosts Laura and Diddier were very welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them including being patient with our poor French skills giving it a relaxed homely feel.
Everything was spotlessly clean, our room had a king bed but I'm sure it's a king king bed, it's hugh! It was also extremely comfortable and all the extras were provided, dressing gown and slippers in sealed laundry bags, microwave, kettle and refrigerator.
Our private bathroom was just outside the bedroom and again spotlessly clean with a super walk in shower complete with soap and shampoo.
The breakfasts were amazing, cold meats, French bread, croissants, preserves, cheeses, yoghurt and fruit. As well as fruit juice to drink and a choice of coffees or hot chocolate. Due to the weather breakfast was served inside but next year we will be traveling a little later in the year and will try to book Chambre Jardin Flauri again with the hope of eating in the beautiful garden.
Thankyou Laura and Diddier for a super start to our holiday and all being well we'll see you next year."
"Lovely welcoming host. Great room, bathroom and very comfortable bed. The only thing I would suggest is a mirror by the table for ladies to do hair and makeup. There was a big event on during the evening but this was in no way a detriment to our stay. No restaurant on site so suggest do your research and book ahead in Evereux. Breakfast was good."
"Not a great start when the key which was apparently left in the locker for us wasn't there. All the paperwork was, but no key. Same for another guest who fortunately had better french skills to sort this out by phone with the caretaker.
Rooms are old and tired. Definitely have seen nicer places around this area for a very similar price. Whole hotel has a smell of tobacco and old musty furnishings."
"This property is a bed and breakfast.
Staff is only onsite during daytime hours.
There is a restaurant with limited hours.
Great place to use as a home base while out and about."
"Checking in was difficult, English was not spoken at all. There was a wedding party at the property so the parking lot was full. Be prepared to carry your bags up several flights of stairs. The noise from the wedding was still going on at 2 am. The breakfast was very nice. "
